You’re probably right too. I’ve never played off credit so I have no idea how winnings work. Anytime ive brought a bunch of money and I don’t want to walk around with it or leave it in the room, I deposit at the cage. They’ve always called it a front money account so I guess it essentially works as a line to your own money but in the case of a credit line it isn’t yours until they say so. Sounds about right for a casino.
