I have a place in Henderson that my lease will be up in a week or two. I havent decided to resign the lease yet.

Has anyone stayed here before?

My main questions are: Is there free wifi with streaming capability? Also would it support me playing online poker from my room everyday, like 8 tabling without interuption?

Also is there anyone currently living here that would want to share a room possibly...

I have seen lots of great reviews for the prices offered. Just no feed back on the internet capabilities..

Oh one last question. The website says they may have to verify employment. Is this just to avoid bums or are they serious about it. I just see that conversation being a pain explaining that i have been playing poker online full time. Thanks for any help.

My lease is up in a week or two, and I am looking to room or share a place with 1 or more poker players.

I play online here full time. Not sure if i wanna resign the lease yet. I just would rather room with fellow poker players. Im not picky. Or if you wanna go in 2 or 3 ways on casino hotel rooms or weekly stays near the strip im in.

I dont have any drug problems. I dont smoke, but if your 420 friendly thats ok. Just nothing more than that. Drinking i dont mind. I drink socially.

So whats up peeps. Lets crush.

I am also open if you wanna move into my spare room and resign the lease here. Although i would prefer being closer to the strip.

Im at the cross streets of Sunset and GreenValley.

Wsop is the only viable way to play legally.

Unless I am missing something, your post is very confusing; you already live there but don't know how the internet is?

You might have beeter luck posting in the dedicated Las Vegas housing thread. Sorry I can't link it from my phone, but it shouldn't be tough to find.

Your posts sound confusing OP. Good luck with the search but don't narrow your search to purely poker players. There aren't that many reliable and "good roommate" poker players in this town compared to non-poker roommates. The problem with MANY poker players is that their income isn't the most stable and too many of them aren't the best at managing their finances even if their income from poker is pretty stable. They also tend to have erratic schedules which might be difficult to live with. Coming from a poker player, I explain to people that I have my own business and show bank statements and that tends to satisfy most landlords. Don't say you are a poker player as this will most likely kill any chance of getting a place.

Ironically, being a poker player, I would not rent to another poker player unless I knew them to be reliable, financially stable, and normal from personal experience. I've been disappointed by many local poker players in their ways of life and the ones that seem stable are in a relationship or have a family so they won't be looking for a roommate situation.

I agree the original post is confusing. I think possibly i had two seperate threads that got merged somehow.

Ive decided to keep the lease where i am and stay here. So now I am looking for a poker player that would like to rent the spare guest room for an undetermined length of time.

I completely understand you not having faith in poker players in general. I would agree thats a pretty good rule of thumb overall. I have had good and bad experiences with poker players. However, Im only renting the room because i am somewhat bored. In life. I just think it would be refreshing to have someone with similar goals be here that we could push and motivate each other. I have a great setup for someone new to town, or possibly already here that is tired of renting some dumpy weekly spot.

Anyhow, the room is still open if someone wants to pm me or post here. Im not saying that i will take anyone. It will require a skype interview or real life meetup for a beer somewhere. That being said, i understand situations. We all have them. Ill just cherry pick from there.

Good luck with your search. Hopefully it works out and maybe even build a solid friendship.
