Try Harrahs. If you join Total Rewards online you’ll get good discounts on all the Caesars properties

Maybe, so long as you aren't booking Friday or Saturday night.

I've seen TI around that amount for weekdays on Expedia, but it's very hit and miss.

Remember you'll also have to pay a resort fee of ~$30 per night.

I think you have already made up your mind and that's good because I would say absolutely no to Excalibur and Luxor.
Just got back from 2 nights at the Excalibur via MyVegas, and honestly, it wasn't bad. My grading scale is probably off though because I enjoy staying at locals type Boyd and Stations casinos, and Excal was basically on par with those - which is to say, clean, quiet, but a bit dated.

I was afraid that Excal might be full of kids running around and being loud, but my room was very quiet. I don't even know if I had neighbors or not.

The only stupid thing was I had pre-checked in with the Mobile checkin thing, and got a notification e-mail that my room was ready (which was around 1.30). Awesome! Then I show up to the hotel lobby and all 3 self-serve checkin kiosks were down. Awesome.

So I wait in the stupid checkin line, and when I finally get up to a worker, she informs me that I could have gone through the (much shorter) business services line if I had pre-checked in. Great, thanks.

I've got roughly 300k Myvegas points I can spend, and honestly I'll probably opt for a nicer property next time, not because Excal sucked, but mostly because I don't see myself going to the strip again. The video poker there just sucks too much and there's not much else for me to do. I might stay at Mandalay Bay just so it's easier to leave and go to Green Valley Ranch or M or something.

I just stayed at TI. Got a nice upgrade via the $20 trick and got a strip view on the 34th floor.

Room was nice enough, but no fridge?!?!?! Maybe that's standard but i wasn't expecting there to not be one.

I thought almost no strip properties had a fridge unless you request and usually pay for it. The fancy places have the minibar fridge filled with things to buy but no room left for your stuff.

The suites at TI have one. Some Bally's rooms have them but otherwise they are not standard.

Fridges are surprisingly to be had for free at various low roller cet properties
Linq - all rooms
Bally's - jubilee and all renovated "resort" rooms
Harrah's - renovated rooms in the valley tower
Flamingo - renovated "resort" rooms in the habitat tower.
All these also have the shower (no tub) as standard. Decor is somewhat tacky but there are accessible plug points for chargers on the bed side tables.

I stayed at TI recently and had a fridge. I remember it was a little hard to find, either in the closet or what appeared to be a cabinet where you would not expect one, did you check everywhere? I also had a strip view room on a similar floor, it was just a standard room not a suite or anything.

All the CET/MGM and fancier properties I have stayed at have always had a fridge as well. Maybe I have just been lucky? I just assumed fridges were standard, as they should be.

And if you move their stuff out and put your own things in, they are charging you for every item that has been out of the minibar for more than 60 (?) seconds.

I looked a bit but it wasn’t a big deal. Out of 5 days, I maybe spent two non-sleeping hours in my room.

Also worth noting TI waived the resort fees with just me asking them to.

They don't do this at The Cromwell, there are no sensors so you can take drinks out and put in your own water, beer, etc. Pain in the ass though.

The suites there all have standard size fridges and if you have a host they can usually arrange to get you a mini fridge free of charge if you're staying in a regular room..

I stayed in a Valley Tower room at Harrah's, and it did not have a fridge.

If you're diabetic and request a fridge for storage of your medical needs, you don't get charged. You could also just claim to need a fridge for medical reasons. I think Mlife gold status would get you a free fridge too.

Claiming a medical condition that you don’t have is the nut low. So that option should be limited to customers who really need it.

In general, the chances of finding a fridge in your room are higher in lower end hotels. Not just in Vegas.

The thing that really annoys me is higher end hotels deciding to stop offering a minibar and then removing the fridge instead of leaving it in the room for the customer to use. I understand why they do it, but it’s just ****ty.

When I stayed at Flamingo I had a fridge. I didn't request it special or anything. That was King Room I think.

Aria Tower Suites has the regular mini-bar fridge as well as a separate one for personal items. Worked for me...

You can add the RIO to this list (although it is technically off Strip) but it sucked they don't have coffee machines in all of the rooms.

They're probably supposed to. If it's missing from your room, call the front desk.

I can't remember which it was, but I heard a hotel in Vegas once that I heard had this policy. I was taking medicine that needed to be refrigerated at the time and requested one for that, but they did not honor my request.
