Maybe he doesn't want the hard pulls on his credit report for whatever reason (buying a house soon, etc).

OP wants to nit up 150 hours @ 1/2 in 15 days, then 100 hours at a Caesars property for free parking. A house is not in his future.

If you get 1000 TCs in a day, you get a 1000 TC bonus. If you get 2500 TCs in a day, you get a 5000 TC bonus.

So if you put $25,000 into VP on two separate days, that will get you to Diamond by itself.

Additionally, TCs gained from VP or other games WILL stack with TCs gained from poker for the purpose of daily bonuses.

So you could play 18 hours of poker at Caesars for ~600 points, and would then only need to put ~$4000 into VP to get a total of 2000 TCs on the day. There are VP machines at Caesars that pay 99.5% using a pretty simple strategy, so the expected loss of this would only be around $20.
Wouldn't it be $20,000 through VP? The AVERAGE loss would be $100, which means on a single trial it would be much higher because of the reduced likelihood of hitting a royal. I sure wouldn't recommend 18 hours of poker, then pushing 20 grand through a vp machine on the same day. That's only gets you halfway, so you'd have to do it again another day. $500 (or whatever it is) for Founders Club seems so much simpler.

Lots of good info on how to go about getting Diamond/Gold. However, I’m not looking for the optimum or easiest way. I’m looking to do it my way, whether people feel it is a waste of time or not. It seems the consensus for the first half of my goal is to play at Aria or Bellagio. I appreciate everyone’s suggestions, inputs and opinions.

I may start a PG&C thread about the experience. Working titles are Can’t Afford a House/Who’s Got a Van for Sale(no hard inquiries) or OMCs Got Nothing on Me.

Feel free to follow along. All comments welcome.

Feel free to use it if you do any kind of reporting.

One word of advice would be to just take notes while you are on the quest and post after it is all said and done. Time is of the essence so you should waste any during the event.

I know something about grinding as that is what I had to do to get Diamond last year and let me tell you, it was not fun.
Not nearly as Grindy the NCL cruise promo was at caesars palace. (45 hrs in 72 hours)

Holla if you were one of the suckers like me who did this promo

Haven't been to vegas in a long time. But you are saying if you grind 150 hours at aria/bellagio... how long of a time do you have to do this... like an entire 11 month plus span?

Then say once you hit 150 hours in a month or 2 months of grinding, then you get gold mlife for like how long? But what does that get you in terms of benefits at bellagio/aria? I see borgata is a mlife property as well. Do you get to upgrade your card at borgata? Haven't been there in long time but always had that basic borgata card.So you automatically get diamond on CET properties? If so, isn't that much easier than getting diamond playing at cet properties only?

So that means you would get free room offers at CET properties throughout the US like at AC this way? But does that mean you also don't have to have that CET resort fee if you are diamond? If so, thats pretty amazing since resort fees at CET properties is like 35 dollars a night at least now? So if you get comped rooms in vegas at cet properties or in AC, you pay 0 resort fees?

Only good benefit with gold is free parking/valet that I know of.

Tier matching to get diamond will not get you comp’d rooms, those are based on your play, But yes resorts fees are free for diamond.

Well if that is the case and someone wants comped rooms and no resort fees at CET properties, might as well just play at CET properties then right?

Also is it easier to hit diamond in CET properties in vegas vs atlantic city? Or its the same? Does anyone know how many hours of 1/2 in AC gets you diamond? Or what about in vegas?

Been a while since i been at either of these places.

Not sure how many Tier Credits get you Diamond. Their website should say. I think it’s 34TC per hour of poker at Caesar’s in Vegas. Not 100% sure what it is anywhere else but I think it is only half that.

I'm surprised people still push founders cards and video poker when there are far cheaper ways to "buy" diamond status.

OP is playing at MGM properties to take advantage of Caesars matching program. If he gets gold at an MGM property, he can get diamond at Caesars.

Doing this, he will only be diamond through January 2020 unless he earns additional tier credits at a Caesars property by a certain date and then he will be diamond for all of 2020.

Playing 1/2 at any Caesars property anywhere earns you 17 TC an hour except at Caesars itself where you earn 34 TC an hour. I have heard if you play higher at any Caesars property, then you earn more TC an hour.

You need to earn 15,000 TC in a calendar year to achieve diamond. I am on my phone so I can't access my calculator to be exact, but that translates to slightly less than nine hundred hours of poker.

I think that answers most of your questions.

Anyone have a working link on the additional tier credits needed to maintain diamond through 2020? The link on the website appears to be down unless I am looking at it. I am going to do this this month and I believe the additional tier credits were something like 3,750?

All games above 1/3 pay the same 34TC an hour. Including Caesars. So if you play 2/5 at Caesars you get the same 34 an hour as the 1/2 players.

The information is hidden in the terms and conditions page:
https://www.caesars.com/myrewards/pr...-upgrade-terms
If you match in September, you'll need 5000 tier credits to extend diamond for 2020.

Thank you. I am to assume that single day multipliers apply towards reaching the diamond requirements? I.e., if I get 2500 tier credits in a day for a 5000 tier credit bonus, is that enough to meet the requirement of 5k tier credits?
