I don't know about a season pass or anything but I played this really cool course that had all 18 holes modeled after famous British open holes. It was pretty cheap (60 bucks I think) and super super nice

Rhodes Ranch and tuscany are really cheap and nice courses 25 after 1 cant beat it.
Also I will be hosting a golf tournament for Ronald Mcdonald House on May29 at 1 at badlands golf course. Trtying to get as many poker players involved as I can. The entry is 120 which includes lunch packet, dinner buffet and shot to win a car for a hole in one along with many other great prizes. Gonna raffle off a 1500 seat to wsop event too. Will have Jose Conseco doing a long drive competition, out drive him and win 150 pro shop money and get to play in his group. Let me know if you are interested you can email me at: rcentertainment007@gmail.com

Also like to get a group of guys and play skins for money nothing big $1 a hole or something, whatever we all decide. get back to me if you liked to be in.

LVN is also 25 after 1pm, and I believe 40 after 11am? Plus, a 25% discount if you go again the next day.

RIO Secco had a $50 locals rate which is good for that course.

Is that price only for locals or for everyone that seems super cheap

Great deal
Thanks for the info/
However would all players in a foursome have to be locals to get that offer.
Only one of us has a Nevada ID, do you think he can pay for the four so us at that rate.

any opinions on the callaway par 3 course? coming in with some friends who like golf but not enough to devote 6 hours to it out of a weekend in vegas and it seemed like a decent compromise

they recently raised the price from $19 to $25 for unlimited golf and range balls from 7-4. (+10 for cart)

every hole is 120-130 yards except for one which is like 185. if the greens were nicer it would be a pretty tough course...there's a decent amount of slope and distinct levels on the greens, but since they are so slow it's not a huge deal. the tee boxes are beat to hell. it's lighted, so you can play after dark.

def your best choice if you want to golf but don't want to be out there all day. i can play the whole thing in about 45 mins walking if nobody in front of me. let me know if you want a 4th, i'll tag along

Def. Will have 4 but we might have 5 that we could turn into two threesomes. Will do a headcount and let you know.

Bumpity bump bump.

Coming out there end of this month with the girlfriend, who is a beginner, but quickly becoming addicted to the game. She prefers 9 holes -- I like 18, but got to get around the track as a deuce in less than 4 hours or I'm suicidal, particularly as being out on the course is time away from pokerz.

As she's a beginner and we will be renting clubs, reasonable price with some nice views are at a premium. Any advice or links to good clearinghouses for tee times and rates appreciated.

Thanks for the bump, I was wondering where the thread was for this.

I was looking at an Exec Par3/4 since I like to play, but I am not very good. The best I found was in Henderson (Desert Willow Golf Course), but it looks like only a 15 min drive from Mandalay Bay.

Looks reasonable for prices ($15 to $45 depending on the time and day), and rentals are $25.

Anyone play here?

4 hours for a 2some is forever. Getting a good rate will be tough with a non NV driver license. Are you staying on the strip? Will you have a car?

You could play callaway, right across the street from lay bay. executive course with a few longish par 4s

Staying at Aria. No car, we'll take a cab. Will have to rent clubs, but can tote shoes, balls, glove, etc out there.

Ideally play Thursday morning, super early (doesn't bother us coming in from the EST), for $75 - $100 ish per? What do you think? Doable?

That par 3/4 exec course sounds like a decent option for her. Its really about showing her how much further the ball goes in the dry air of Nevada relative to the soup of an atmosphere we have here in central Florida, as opposed to my playing the best. If she weren't along for the ride, the golf budget would be higher for the trip.
