so ive never even bothered with the Great Gift Wrap Up stuff in the past.

is this just an event where you can buy random crap with your RCs at stupid crazy markup conversion prices?

aka if I dont have any RCs I shouldnt even bother? i ask because im actually going to be in vegas during those December dates.

You can log in to your Caesars account online and find your GGWU points there. There's a menu option for Great Gift Wrap Up.

GGWU points are separate from tier credits or reward credits, and over the year there may be various promotions that add to your GGWU tally.

They can only be spent at the GGWU events at the end of the year.

Usually you can spend points on gifts that will be shipped to you, on gift cards that you'll take home from the event, or on freeplay.

Last year I think I was able to get $50 in Visa gift cards. The previous year I had over $300.

Got my answers regarding the gift cards.

Essentially 350 GGWU points = $1 in gift cards

Smallest sizes are $10 and $25, they also have $50, $100, and $500. So 3500 GGWU points is the minimum amount to spend on gift cards, and if you have an odd amount you might be able to utilize some $25 cards, maybe not.

Also worth noting that Freeplay / table game vouchers is a better value, I think it's 275 GGWU points for $1 freeplay, with a minimum redemption of $50 or 13,750 GGWU points.

I got most of my tier credits via bonuses this year, so my GGWU points are very low. I didn't cash in my points last year either, because they were only worth about $70 to $80 in redeemed crap, even less in free play.

It seemed low, but it's probably only worth about 72 RC. (I don't play Ultimate, but I know $60 a bet at a BJ game is worth about 90 RC for 1.5 hours. The edge in Ultimate is about twice as high, but they only play about 40% of the hands per hour. So, multiplying that all out, I come up with 72.)

I'm not familiar with Horseshoe Hammond but Vpfree2 list several games that are pretty good if they give 1 tier credit per $10. I see there are several for $25 or $50 per tier credit but that would take forever and have a higher risk of loss.

If you only need 1,000TC you can earn that easily by just getting $200 worth of hotel rooms (before tax) at one of the other Caesar's properties that has an on-site hotel.

for the casino specific 5x tier multiplier for various days in nov, you swipe in at that casino's kiosk.

Supposedly this did/does not apply to TC earned through poker play, but as I recall the date given for when these would be credited was something like Nov 29.

It definitely counted for me. I just hit Diamond on Monday and had 15089 TC’s(all from poker) and today I have 18100.

The few times I played that at Flamingo they were fun games. Maybe I was just lucky.

The Orleans is a different story. But I get through it because I think about how every hand gives me a shot at their bad beat.
