I'm in the same boat as you. I tried to do the Wyndham Diamond match again on Saturday (through my HHonors Gold) and I'm waiting on word back.

yea mine was instant but probably won't matter if you are doing it for CET diamond as others have pointed out it clearly states in the TOS that you can only do it once. I'm still gonna try though

I got instant match today CET diamond to Wyndham diamond. I have a trip for the Super Bowl so I'm showing up 1/30 and leaving 2/3.

Is the Wyndham diamond to CET diamond instant too? I can't apply for CET diamond until Feb 1, 2020, correct?

Log into Caesars, go here https://www.caesars.com/myrewards/profile/ and then look under your "My Current Tier is Diamond" thing and does it say it expires Jan 31 2020 (you didn't earn enough) or Jan 31 2021 (you did earn enough).

It's going to say 2020 until it turns over at the end of the month. At lease that's how it should work.

I don't know about the partial years. But I know that as soon as I earned Diamond this year, my date changed to 2021.

Email from September from CET:

Ugh, Pokerkraut just mentioned a rumor that CET plans to drop poker tier credits from 17 to 11 per hour.

WTF is a “pokerkraut”???

Is the current 17 for 1/2 NL? It's thirty something for 2/5 NL, right?

17 1/2nl and 34 2/5nl, but Caesars is 34 for 1/2nl and $2/hour.

To pick nits, it's also 34 for 2/3, which runs occasionally at Bally's and Rio.

And at other Caesars properties around the country, even 2-5 NL is only 17 TC/hr, not 34.

As per I was told by TR customer service. January is the month they will review all the a/c upgraded through matching program and if you able to get enough credit you need for qualification as per the chart , you will be upgraded till January 2021 after 31st January.

I sent them emails inquiring and confirming how many credit I need to qualify for diamond and got confirmation that I have enough credit (13750) earned after I was matched in February of 2019.

Here are two email responses I got from customer service

“ January is the renewal processing time as such accounts are being looked into and will be upgraded by February 1, 2020 if status is achieved.”

“ Yes, members who Tier Matched in January 2019 needed to earn 13,750 between February 1 - December 31 in order to maintain their Diamond Status and you earned 13,756!“

Does anyone know of any CET properties that still have good VP that is good for accumulating tier credits?

I might have mentioned this before, but just wanted to remind/encourage everyone to ask for everything you can think of from hosts. I remember the first time I had like $30 in room charges on a meal and I timidly talked to a host at the Rio because I figured the worst they could do was say no. They said sure they'd be happy to take care of it and that's started a pattern.

I slowly worked that number up. This weekend I was at Caesars and Augustus was full because of CES and it was my GF's bday so I had them upgrade me to a suite, which was like $100 a night more than the comped room = $300. They ended up comping this.

For me, I was scared to talk to hosts. I was a low-level diamond player and not super valuable to the casino and I had sort of heard that you got your rewards credits and that was it. Now I just ask for whatever I can every time. With rooms, resort fees, valet all covered, if I get my food covered (or a sutie upgrade, in this case) then it truly ends up being a $0 cost trip (minus your theo - or what they think your theo is).

Lastly, always spend your RC before you ask a host for anything because they'll always deduct those first.

I usually don't go to Caesars very often, but is there anyway to get free parking like I do at mgm properties?
