Several years ago they had a similar system at Eldorado in Reno. It was a giant hunk of machinery at the table that read cards and chips and did all the math. It wasn't using RFID though, just scanning the chips in the circle. It was all quite stupid and they don't have it anymore.
Seems like to have an RFID scanner you'd need something similar to the black box at the cashier, which would also be stupid.
