My sons are here, so met up with them, and then played a little BJ. Lost 200.
Fri. Won and got to +2k for the trip.
Sat. Lost back to even and then - 2k for trip.

Sun. won back to +2k for trip.
Mon. up to + 3600 for trip. Thanks to some expert advice from my NBA coach,
I won $360 each on Twolves & Pelicans. He’s on Pelicans again tonight-
so am I, and got a 4 teamer: Pelicans, Clev, Clev over, and Griz (100 to win 1100).

Tue. Won 900 more.
One more night been some crazy swings: 2 of note
Me $500 bet (tilted) 19, Dealer 10 3 7
Me $250 dd me 83 4, Dealer 95 3
Sports other bets: +300+300 -200 x4.

Good food, many drink and lots of fun,
but ready to head back to the tranquility of S GA.

Had a lot of fun. Flew back to Atl this eve and didn’t want to drive backhome 3 hours at night so staying in a motel and will go home tomorrow.

yeah Tom, there is a little news on the orange grow - all 2000 trees were lost in the Christmas freeze. I'd like to give an update in my other thread if you would be so kind as to post the pix - I'm still too old to figure it out.

One other incident from the trip that borders on the unbelievable - move unbelievable than me winning $10.5k, and here it is:
I had $2k rubberband in my pocket with my phone. Evidently, when I pulled my phone out the money came out - somewhere between the GN, Cirrca, Binions and up and down Fremont street. When I got back to the room, I noticed that I should have about $4500.
I only had $2500. I just kissed tha $$$ goodbye and hoped that at least a homeless person found it. Well, When I went back down stairs, i just happened to aske the security manager if anyone had turned it in (hahaha). He said YES. After a brief discussion I had my money. The people that turned it in did not leave any information. I'm a lucky ol' fart...

Seems like a great idea to relax in a Motel before the drive back.
A while back my secondary wallet fell from my pocket (No ID in it) with $5400 in it. It was never turned in of course.
When I have a good win like that, I'm usually back playing pretty quick afterwards.

As Gzesh suggested, I probably should have stayed in a nicer place than that the shithole I stayed in, but I was tired and didn't want to drive 3 hours at night.

Glad you got your money back. They've done some studies on this and found that the more money it is, the more likely someone is to return it. Kind of a paradox, but I suppose most people have limits on how much they will steal, and knowing it might be lifechanging money for someone else plays in. Of course, especially in Vegas, YMMV.

I had a similar situation a decade ago. Was wearing shorts and lost $700 in chips - a 500 and 2 100s. Went to security just in case and amazingly, someone had found the chips on the floor of a bathroom cubicle and handed them in.

Now I think I'm an honest guy and I would always hand in wallets intact/find a number to call the owner, call people if I see money/chips fall out of their pockets etc. But I can't say for certain that if I found casino chips in a place where there was no cameras that I would hand them in
