True re: fatalities, but in the desert it could be built with waaaaay more run-off (less stuff to run into) thereby making it considerably safer.

It would be cool if he could pull this off. My girlfriend's parents live about 25km from Nurburgring, so I have been there a couple of times and it is amazing. We just recently drove by Hockenheimring on the way to Innsbruck and I got to see it from the outside.
