Booking activities in Vegas

Hi, i will be heading to Vegas in a months time, i am going with a group of 7.
We want to shoot some guns down the gun range (thegunstore), as theres 7 of us would it be best to book? does it get busy down there on weekends?
Secondly we want to go on an ATV (quad bike) trip in the desert. The prices online look reasonable but would be be better off booking this sort of activity from somewhere on the strip/hotel desk? If so where? Would it be cheaper?
