I have lived about 1/4 of my 8 years in USA in Vegas. But I have since been back in Australia for 4-5ish years. This time I am coming back just for WSOP. 1st half alone, 2nd half with the family. Thought I would just see who was going to be there, maybe we could catch up one day, compare stories about play, get a bit of a community for advice.

I'll probably have a go at 10-15+ events, probably starting with Colossus and finishing with the ME.

Hope to see some of y'all there!

This thread might also be a good place to ask repeated stupid Aussie questions our American buddies don't have to answer

eg; q. I need a bloody sausage roll in Vegas...where do I get one? a. McMullans Irish pub near The Orleans. I used to get pies and sausage rolls delivered from the Aussie Bakery in Atlanta. These days I am more likely to just hit up whole foods and get healthy stuff.

Other questions I am sure every visitor might have will be which SIM cards, where to stay, etc. I'll help out where I can, I might be a little outdated in my knowledge though

Unlucky mate, I think it was $6.50 for a plate of them at the pub near the Orleans...now looks like $10. That's why I used to live off the cheap mystery meat banh mi in the asian hood for not far off $2

I did actually like the Korean food near there too (though not all that cheap).

BTW: don't google "bloody sausage las vegas" at work. Nothing good can come of it

I am glad the critical questions are being answered here. For American tastes, get some cheesy-mite. You will be 90% less likely to vomit (it's actually pretty mild relatively).
