Man it feels good dusting off this thread. Looks like I haven't been since July 2019. ****in covid. Mad Money Mike and I would go every year in January for the CFB natty champ game but for some reason last year switched it up for March Madness. That is precisely when the world shut down. I still remember constantly checking the daily updates as the NBA shut down, different NCAA Conference Tournaments, then finally the mother lode March Madness itself. What a bad time.

Well luckily it seems we are slowly pulling out of it and I'm pumped to be headed back to Vegas. I also am super happy to say that I have a son now, his name is Kramer and he's just about 10 months old. I'll spare the kid pic (unless someone says they want to see him, did I just hear someone ask?). He and his mom are back in Turkey visiting her family, and since I couldn't go that long for work I stayed and am able to squeeze in this trip.

Anyways sadly Mad Money Mike won't be joining, he also has a kid now and is just too bowed up. However, Joe will be joining for the weekday portion of the trip! I am still trying to figure out if his nickname is Poker Pro Joe or Degen Joe. TBD.

We are staying at Park MGM, I get in tomorrow (Sat) evening and am staying til the following Sunday. I've been jonesing hard and it'll be fine if I am sick of this place by the time I leave cuz it'll probably be a while til I come back. Degen Joe's dates are Mon-Fri.

I like to play poker, play most pit games except baccarat, and sports bet. It's awesome timing for sports: NHL playoffs, NBA play in tournament, and the PGA championship. I checked VGK Tix and don't want to drop $300 so will be watching from a book or bar.

I'll be posting pics and some updates in here, however the primary updates will be through a Podcast that MMM and I have started, It's A Lock Podcast. We are definitely in the "start-up" camp, but it's fun and we can all dream of making it big, right?

Heyooohhhh! Good to finally be here. Hitting some early variance but hopefully this is it. Flight took an extra 45min due to weather, there are no Lyfts apparently 15,000 drivers aren't working for some reason. My room wasn't ready so I'm in a 1 bedroom for tonight (which is OK it just sucks to have to move later), and it smells like smoke so is currently getting deodorized, so I'm out of the room for 2 hours.

Gonna grab dinner and see what happens. I've been up since 230a Vegas time so prolly won't go too hard tonight, def not nevahascards hard.

They did give me $100 food credit which is great.

At beerhaus, got some Mac and cheese bites and the pulled pork sandwich. And the lovejuice IPA. Hitting the spot

Alright back at the room. After dinner I went to Cosmo and loaded up some funds to the mobile sports betting app, super pumped about that. Then since I had time to kill I went to Aria. Said hi to nevahascards and donfrap, too tired tho to be anything but a wet blanket so played 1/2 plo. Did manage to win a nice pot to finish up $440 and now I'm hopefully gonna get some sleep. 15 NBA games tomorrow that I have no clue about but will be betting!

Apparently people come to Vegas to party in their rooms all night long. I forgot to bring ear plugs so had trouble getting to sleep. O well, I did get a few solid hours and it's time to try and get in a good poker game.

Called it a session, wanted to get breakfast before it got too crowded and also the action players were gone. Ran well (qq hand from earlier) and made a call w 66 on a 8843hh board that turned out to be right and held too. Finished up $400.

Eating a champions breakfast of steak and eggs, checked in on the fam, and who knows what's up next!

One other poker hand, UTG straddles I limp AA from +1, button makes it 20, straddle calls, and I make it $120. Button tank folds and utg calls all in aaaaaand we chop vs kjo on a 34567 runout. Dang!

Walked the strip up to the Wynn, got a chair massage, and am back at the Bellagio playing 1/3. Made a bad call BvB but then got paid off w aces and am up a bit. That massage was like a red bull!

BvB hand: 3 way limped I'm in the SB with A5, flop AQ6 I check bb bets 5 cutoff folds I call. Turn 7 bb bets 15 I call. River 9 he bets 30 I call he has A7. I shoulda folded river.

Dang I was up a couple hundred then lost a pretty big pot with 33 vs qj on T93cc 8 4. Lots went in on the flop but another 250 on the turn. Not sure I could a got away but oh well stinks. Down 175ish now. Not sure if I'll stay and keep playing or take a break and walk around / try to get my room changed.
