Taking a slower small-ball approach to today's tournament.

As such, I'm listening to Enya. For some reason her music dulls the pain of folding for me. That and I'm high. And not quite awake yet.

Decided I needed food more than 9 more minutes of folding. 1st break will now be 24 minutes.

I'll have a little over 18k coming back to 150/300. Started with 15k. There has been nothing of note with the exception of people at my table 4 betting oop with AQo thinking it is a winning strategy.

Or perhaps it is a winning strategy and I just suck at the pokerz.

Things just got a bit heated on table 20. Penalties being handed out. F bombs are flying. I'm listening to Enya so obv not involved.

Decided to make my first bluff and it worked. Little over 28k going to 250/500.

I really think these guys are going to end up being friends. Or one of them is going to get knocked out. One of the two.

Was feeling a bit uneasy, so I took a break. Went to the bathroom, vaped some weed and smoked a cigarette. I missed one hand.

Seriously averaging 5-7 hands per 30 minute level. This isn't the TV table folks.

Opened 78ss and got one caller.

Flop of 8-8-10.

I get doubled by what I can only presume to be an over pair. I also got a grumpy old man coffee speech about suited connectors.

A little over 50k. Almost to 2nd break.

Break time! And you know what that means. CvD is about to get high. Spent the last few levels nut peddling and losing flips to short stack shoves. Managed to add some chips from last time though.

Just under 80k coming back to 1k/2k.
