OP - Here is how to do it.

Another thread in this forum talks of a 1-2 player sitting with 20k at the Nugget.

Your plan is to find five of these clowns a year and stack them. I live in Vegas so you can trust me when I say its totally doable.

Most likely, with sick game selection skillz, ie; finding 5 clowns with 20k in play, you reach your goal a lot sooner than a year.

Probably by WSOP time.

There is of course no reason that this kid wont be successful..
I mean, 20BB's an hour is easy-poker is easy-and to expect less is being negative.

Everyone makes at least 10bb's an hour now and the OP has to be at least twice as good as anyone else in town....how can he fail?

I will of course subscribe to this as I am going to enjoy the progress-

I lose much more than 40/hr at 1-2 so this is definitely doable if you game select well.

Are your living expenses covered and your bankroll sufficient to cushion a rocky start if you don't start running good right away?

Theoretically if I did it wouldn't make much of a difference. If I drop 4 buy ins more than a couple times in the year I probably won't succeed. If I'm making $40/hr at 1-2 and I lose 4 buyins in a row there is a very high chance I'm on tilt. Tilt is not welcome if I'm going to pull in 6 figures at the lowest level game in Vegas.

So basically what everyone is saying is that if I accomplish this feat I will be the only person that has ever done this?

Insane, extremely unlikely but I'm game for keeping up with this thread.

Question: what's your starting bankroll and will you be living off your winnings or do you have another source of income to pay your bills?

Request: We have no way of knowing if you are legit but I guess we will have to trust you. This thread will only be interesting if we know your starting roll and get weekly updates of win/loss and current standings of where you are at, year to date, on achieving the goal.

I will definitely be updating the thread with pics etc but does having 20k really make that much of a difference as to whether I can do this or not? I'm not a stats geek but if I'm a 40/hr player 2k is likely more than enough.
