Hello everyone,
I am looking for a longterm coach for nl he 6max or 5max game (idealy with hu experience, as i want to learn hu to). As it should be for a longer period (3 months is the minimum) on a weekly basis, i don´t want to pay the coach for every single hour separately, instead of this i want to offer a winningshare on all hands i play in the coachingperiod (further details about the conditions are at the bottom of this text) paid monthly.
Some informations about me:
I am 25 years old and i am a student on a german university. I started playing poker 2 years ago, first sngs (about 2k sngs played) than as a shortstacker. As a short stacker i played all limits up to nl200 and overall something betwenn 300k-400k hands with a 2-4bb/100 winrate (depending to the limit). I lost my database of that time so i cant show you my graph, but half of the hands were played on full tilt and stars, my screennames are Triggering (stars) and Klabautermann84 (full tilt) for the ones who want to take a look at me at ptr or so.
The shortstackertime was last year, at the beginning of this year i started playing full stacked at nl10 und moved up till nl50 (overall ca 200k hands and again, without a graph). I needed to play as a semi pro, so my roll did not grow very much. because of cashing out monthly i could not move up.
A few months ago, i moved houses, because of this i needed to cash out nearly my entire roll and fell back to nl10. I spent the last month to grind me back to nl40euro (equal to nl50dollar) in about 50k hands and now i am back where i ended last time (the graph of those hands is shown below).
So why do i think that i need a longterm coaching?
As a shortstacker, i had a nice coach (winningsharedeal) who took care about my game for about three months with weekly u2u coachings, sessionreviews and a little homework from time to time. This was the time i learned the most about the game ever. It was a clear win/win situation for both of us, i moved up the limits much quicker than without him and increased my winrate and so his piece of the pie got bigger every month.
Now i am at a point in my live where i want to keep playing poker as a serious alternative to a 9 to 5 job which i would have to take after finishing my diplom at the university. This is not possible at nl50, i know that i am able to climb at least two limits higher only by learning by myself, but the past experiences showed me that i can climb those limits way faster with an experienced coach.
What am i aiming for?
I want to climb up the limits as far as i can get. Lets be realistic, i dont know what limit this will be. As you can see i have a lot of experiences in small stakes he (even 40k hands in plo.... but this was horrible, let us dont talk about that..), but nearly none in midstakes he, so it is up to the coach. If he says "move up, youre ready" then i will move up, if not, i wont. I dont want to be a break even grinder on nl x, i want to be a solid winner.
The basic conditions:
i have to play at least a minimum handcount every month to keep it profitable for the coach and he has to spent at least x hours (to be discussed) per week with my coachings. If the coach thinks that i am lazy or simply not good enough, he has the right to end the coachingdeal at any time. As i want to learn something, i wont spend my time masstabling to get the maximum handcount. I will play 4-6 tables . A monthly handcount between 30k and 50k is realistic to me. For all further details we have to talk personally.
Something about the coach i am looking for:
You should be a solid winner at at least nl600, better nl1k, i want to reach at least nl400, so it would make no sense if you are a regular at a lower limit. I know that it must seem a little bit overdosed, a nl50 grinder is asking for a nl1k reg to be his longterm coach, but i know myself and how hard i am willed to work on my game, to me it makes no sense to start with a coach from a lower limit in my particular situation.
