Unable to watch videos Unable to watch videos

For the last week or so ive been unable to watch any videos.

When i start the flash player it stop/starts every 30 seconds and is pretty much unwatchable.
When i use Windows media player i now have audio but no visual for some reason.

This happens with both Firefox and IE, im using XP on a high speed connection if that matters.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Have you tried both streaming and downloading the WMP versions?

Yeah flash player stop/starts constantly, with windows media i have no visual, and when i download a video the winamp client opens but nothing happens!

This just started this week never had any problems before.

Winamp won't play these files because they're encoded with a special DRM. They have to be opened with Windows Media Player.

Not sure if it'll fix your problem anyways, but may as well give it a shot.

Thanks DMoogle i just made WMP my default player so now i can watch the downloaded videos.
Still curious as to why i can no longer watch the flash versions though.

BUMP

Ok so whatever happened with the update today again i cant watch videos.

When i click on flash player nothing happens, its like flash is no longer there even though i have it installed and when i try to download i get:

" WMP cannot connect to server."

I have looked and followed the instructions in the FAQ and the troubleshooting section but still cant watch anything.

Any ideas?
