Leak Finder Series? Leak Finder Series?

Will card runners be continuing the leak finder series? They're by far the best videos on the site, and naturally two minds work better than one. Just curious. Thanks.

Yes, actually they are . I'm making one this week, high stakes HU NLHE, and am looking for someone to submit their session.

I also just sweated Andrew in a heads up NLHE vid, too, that will be released this week.

To follow up on what Taylor said, stay tuned to the CR forums this week for instructions on how to submit your own video...

It's BACK baby!

It just depends on how many videos we get, etc. I will give you a secret hint: we're looking for videos to do a PLO leakfinder series. If you don't suck at PLO and would like to have your play reviewed by one of our top guys, that's probably a great opportunity, since we're likely to get a zillion more NLHE videos than PLO.

I have a problem: I do suck at PLO, but am trying to learn it anyway. I'd really like it if there was a beginner's guide to PLO that talked about basic stuff like arguably optimal stats (hand selection chart FTW), maybe looking at a bunch of different hand equities to get a better feel of the game, and some other topics as well. AFAIK there aren't any books or videos that cover this (there was a 2-part "PLO for the NLHE player" series a little while ago, but I felt that while it may have been a good PLO video overall, it assumed a better understanding of the game to start with.

Right now I'm in the process of watching all the PLO videos from start to finish...

Off topic I know but kind of related to the last comment, a series for low stakes PLO (similar to brystmars SSNL series) would be great.

Brian Townsend gave me a pretty good informal lesson on a lot of things like hand ranges, and equity in his latest video of him sweating me at $2/$4 PLO.

As for a more classroom style lesson on starting hand charts, pokerstoving equity of different hands, etc, your comments have been noted.

Thanks,
Ezra

I mentioned to Taylor that it would be nice to have a starting hands chart for PLO like that one for NLHE. It's a really noobish thing to ask, but when I suggested it I felt like it would really help me. TBH, I've been watching so many PLO videos and playing enough so that I don't really think I need it anymore.

It would help me.

It seems a big leak for the Hold Em player switching to PLO is to correctly value different starting hands (I know it's a leak for a newbie at PLO like me anyway).
