Poker-wise it''s been pretty good. Made some decent $$ through backing and have been working on my own game with the help of some coaching.

Same here. I feel like my skill level is dropping further and further away from the best players and my goal of paying for medical school with poker money is starting to seem impossible. I don't have any regrets about stepping back from poker though, just wish it hadn't taken me so long to decide to stop donating in live tournaments.

First half has been good, second half is gonna be even better.

Not up to my expectations.

It's been a massive grind at the very least. Had a $1500 starting capital last December, since then my tournament career looks like this:

2043 games / $18 av.profit / $43 av.stake / 68% ROI / $38,325 total profit

+ 44k live winnings minus ~20k live buyins = +60k$ total so far After this Vegas trip I'll be lucky to have a bankroll at all though.

Up close to 80k online and won my first live tourney for 9k the other day... so not too bad.

was on a solid 6 figure downswing thanks to a lot of deep runs that didnt work out the way they should have :/ also bricking an entire ept season helps if u like losing money

like i got 4th for 55k in a 5k liveament in paris where i had 50% of the chips in play 4 handed :/ if i had won this i would probably not be posting here
then a few weeks later i finished 11th in the 750k 36th in the irish open and 12th in 1k monday
so how did scoop go? well i didnt play a lot but i came 10th in the 2k 6max and won the 200r the same day
then i played the appt macau highroller a few weeks later and somehow i went from 1/8 to busto in 8th place... yet another deep run but what can ya do?

decided to start grinding it out online again a few weeks ago and have been doing great since .. im still down a lot this year but hey it feels good to be back on track

second half is gonna be be better for sure ... rly looking forward to a couple of live tourneys like the partouche final wpt marrakesh and ept/wsop london

2010 has been really solid. was up like 40k online through march. april broke even. down some in may online but took 4th in my only live event in may (1650$) for 27k. this wsop started off good with a cash in my first event. since then im 0/9. online had been pretty bad this month too until last night shipped the nightly 100k (162) on stars for 19k.

bought a car. have a great gf. have great friends. in the next 6 months looking to move to either fla/la/lv with gf and start life. life is good.

Online: Not playing nearly as much as I used to, and definitely not playing tourneys like I used to (volume wise). Break-even on the year so far, but it's a hobby, not a job.

Live: Just had my 1st live cash ever - 145th in event 45 for 3.6k. Still here for a few days, hope to update this later

Life: My 3-year old girl is going to be a sister come November. 'nuff said, things are great.
