The guy could barely post when wolfing in the previous game I mentioned, it was a terrible performance, the difference between those games is night and day. Now I'm not saying murph IS an obv villa here I'm just saying that he appears to be based on the other game I've seen.

the pace here is too fast for really long deliberations about things. if you are curious about something, just ask about that particular thing. when people have something really important to say you can bet they'll say it with more oomph than a little shortcut list to show other players where they are currently at.

I honestly think we're wasting more time with people not explaining themselves than by people explaining themselves too much. I WANT more information. We signed up for a game that mentioned we are going to have to be ready for a certain amount of investment.

I don't understand what you are referring to that should be more terse or why. I'm not going to agree to that in general. I am expressing myself for fun like most people, and that means stream of consciousness sometimes. Sorry.

I would really appreciate it if people could mention:

1. If they have any reads of any consequence at the moment.
2. If they don't have any reads of any consequence at the moment.
3. What the reasons for those reads are, if applicable.

Please communicate in a way that anyone in the thread can appreciate.

OK so I mentioned a gut read on Moocher. Moocher asked me to explain it. I told him it was a gut read again, and told him which posts. Moocher then comes back at me claiming to think I made the whole read up, and it's not actually based on anything.

In the top part here he is claiming that he thinks I drew the read out of thin air. He obviously knows I based the read on something, whether I'm town or mafia. No one jumps to the conclusion that a read is totally fabricated to explain why it wasn't justified, since no one totally fabricates reads -- it's always based on something whether correct or not.

His act of claiming he sincerely believes I didn't base the read on anything is a lie, most likely an instinctive one rather than a planned lie. The intent was a simple counter-fos, but he ended up saying he suspects something no thinking villager would ever jump to.

So he's mafia.

yeah work was just an absolute nightmare today, i couldn't get away for ~anything and basically was just skimming the last couple posts and commenting if i had something to say

two things that bother me

1) as of this point at least i don't think you really had posted a "good amount"; i remember that one big post from you - which i didn't really have my usual nodding-my-head-in-agreement that i'm used to having with you - but basically nothing else that was pertinent and i don't really remember you much in real time. i'll look back, but my notepad for you is pretty empty besides that one post

2) the "has jcohen solved the game yet?" was a joke, not a condemnation of you. i just think you're a good villager and wanted to make a half-joke about my willingness to sheep you in previous games

I went away and thought about it for a while, the idea that it can't be anything other than a lie aged well, so I'm going to probably push on Moocher for the remainder of the day unless there's some development.

I have since responded to this post, twice I think, which you're ignoring and instead choosing to reply to the same post of mine that you voted me for except your talking to the thread at large and pretending we weren't talking about this. How bizarre. I've said this already but you made your read, I disagreed with it and asked you to explain it and you said that you wouldn't.

You then went on to 'explain' it and contradicted yourself.

It's natural to think someone's read is fake, but not totally fabricated, which is his claim. The distinction is what makes it a lie.
