Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania are all using same currency now. Along with many other EU countries. Lithuanian got Euro this year, Latvia got it last year and Estonia already four years ago.

Yeah _ I think the wiki suggests they are not the same species. I realise zoological categories can be somewhat arbitrary.

Does the borked crow walk? My 4 esteemed neighbours all walk and follow me around when I have not fed them for a day and I arrive home from work or whatever whistling.

Pied piper of birds.

I also have a pair of currawongs on a meat pension as well.

Should I be more precise and say ornothological categories? hmm...

Only one suggestion for my avatar and that is Hoss?

Maybe I should go to BBV4L and beg plubius to come up with something because the Pub sops appear to be more interested in the dregs than upgrading my image.

What are the common questions in a flatmate interview? I have not ever needed to interview for that before.

Pog Game: Chemistry Challenge

LKC and I have been building rockets. You put some vinegar in a plastic bottle, add some baking soda wrapped up in a tissue to delay the contact, put a cork in the bottle, give it a shake and then stand it upside down ow that he cork gets pushed out and the bottle/rocket flies up into the air. It's pretty awesome.

Challenge:
A) what are the right amounts of vinegar and soda I should use to maximise height, and
(Advanced) b) how much of each should I put in the bottle to maximise height and what is the physics of the rocket's motion?

The equation of the reaction is:
NaHCO3(s) + CH3COOH(l) → CO2(g) + H2O(l) + Na+(aq) + CH3COO-(aq)

NaHCO3 baking soda has molecular weight 84.01
C2H4O2 acetic acid has molecular weight 60.05 and is 7% concentration.
