Folding Second Nuts...OK play? Folding Second Nuts...OK play?

I think you need to eliminate those sort of thoughts if you wish to elevate your game tbh. Focus on the play and not on the results imo

I would say you're right. But one thing I can say with live poker is that sometimes you can make -EV calls into +EV calls due to reads that you can't measure mathematically.

So mathematically -EV call, but based on live reads in that situation I think I would fold again honestly, even if I was wrong.

But agree, trying to rid myself of results oriented thinking.

If you are that sure of your live read then you should be posting this in BBV, not asking others for confirmation of what you seem convinced is the correct fold no matter how much we tell you otherwise. You might be right; but it's really impossible for us to say.

I just wanted to bring this hand up because I wasn't sure of the math and I wanted insight from better players as I think it really helps my game. If the villain was more solid it changes a lot of things and I most likely call.

Just wanted to see what some players who are more advanced than me would do, which I believe is call. Don't wanna seem like I don't appreciate everyone's input.

SB saying this is super sick and giving away his hand strength makes it less likely BTN has a worse hand like a set himself, but he could over-value 2 pair too. It's hard to know and it's hard to be certain with a read unless you've observed something from a player in several hands and had that read confirmed.

If there are 2 sets in play which 2pair Will the other Guy have ? And at which frequency ?

I Think you played it great. The words from sb on the turn saying this is sick puts him on 2p/set, so other Guy is bluffing or has a straight, which is most likely in a 5way flop. Would have made me do it as Well, even if he had a rare 2p here there just arent enough combo's to make it profitable ?

I think thats easy math, once your tells indicate he has KQ on 90% lets say, its fold.
