Does calling have any merit?
There are several aspects one has to consider when deciding whether to call or to shove with a strong draw OTF.
You should tend towards shoving
- the more outs you have (you got plenty here)
- the more fold equity you got (Villain pretty much committed himself)
- the more likely your opponent is gonna bet big on the turn, if you just call (again, he is committed, so him shoving the turn with us missing would be an awkward spot).
- the less likely he is gonna pay you, when you just call and hit on the turn (if he puts you on a flush draw and a hits the turn, he might find a weak fold with JJ or QQ)
- when stacks are not too deep (Villain started with less than 100BB)
So altogether a clear shove for me in that case.
