Post your beer and wine recommendations here.

I don't like hoppy beers and I feel like it's an American trend that will soon die out. So I don't care for IPAs and such. However, I like me some malty beers and my favorite style has always been a nice bock or dopplebock.

As for wine, Old Vine Zinfandel from Lodi (the only good wine from Lodi) packs a full-flavored punch if that's what you're after. Peppery and robust, it goes well with a nice steak. Spanish Riojas and Tempranillos are also nice. While I prefer reds, if I have to have a white, I like Sauv Blanc from New Zealand or something somewhat sweet like a Gerwurtzraminer.

I always thought that was overrated. The package was cool but the flavor was meh.
