Hey guys,

11 ppl left, 7 pay in this 45 man SNG, i find myself in this weird spot in which i cant decide what is 'right'. For arguments sake, no real reads on the guy but defenitly not a nit. I would say 5 handed, sb-bb, 15 BB eff stacks this is a call. But am i right? I'm not the best ICM guy :-P
With 8 or 9 ppl left i would probably fold or consider it strongly atleast. With 11 im torn.
Any help?

theres a post pretty much like this one! it s on the edge, i guess A8o is break even so prolly A9 is a +ev call...tho if u say sb is not a nitty with 12bb more or less he is gonna be shoving wider than nash ... according to nash is 51% in that spot and Ax is way ahead

This are still 2 tables so the icm, although strong, is weaker than if it was a FT situation.

There isn't going to be a right answer or at least the answer will vary very strongly on the Villain's range.
If a good reg the range will be quite wide but a recreational could be very much tighter. (Approx 14bb deep you can mostly take the monsters out of the V. range)

If against a reg I would definitely call - against some I might even call any Axs. Against an unknown (but possible reg) I think it is at or very near the break even point and I would sigh and call. Lose and you do go out but win and you will hit the FT bubble as the top stack and could likely get to use pressure on the FT.

If you think the V. is easily below a 50% range then I think it is best to give it up.

(If it was early and so no icm pressure the V. would have to be really tight to drop this.)
