A8o in the SB final table BBL vs BTN shove A8o in the SB final table BBL vs BTN shove

villain has been fairly aggressive up until this point, will flat some fishy hands but seems to raise his strong. about 5 shoves he's shown down were strong hands. Nothing to suggests villain shoves wide. I think maybe the fact this is the FT BBl + his range has so far been quite strong is enough to justify folding here? ty

Being 5 handed on the button on the final table bubble is more of a factor here than what he's previously shown down, because the stack situations and the stage of the tournament were radically different than in this hand. I disagree with your assertion that he won't be shoving wide, for the reasons I stated above. With that being said, even against tight opponents I'm snapping this, and I don't think it's particularly close at all.

You should even call here with most broadway hands like KJ and QTs here, in my opinion.

You maybe need to check the other table as well for someone pretty low like 3-4bbs.
If i am the lowest here i probably call

definitely a call here for me, when he jams 14 bigs like this i would think his range would be on the weaker side

yes, fold.

nash: 7.7%, 88+ ATs+ ATo+ and ATo is even. And BU has a ~50% shoving range here, which is way over what you expect him to push.
So together with your arguments, it's a clearer fold.
