Not too much to add today. Feeling a bit dissapointed afterwards since I made too many mistakes and probably could have avoided some spots.

Its going alright this far at svenskaspel, but I think if I played A-game 100%, I would have had 600-800$ more. Ive made some really bad choices in big pots but I just got to acknowledge the mistakes and make sure I dont repeat them.

Thanks for the supporting words. Always a push on my back .

As you say, its easy to lose track of what you truly want and what you need to do to get there. I heard the saying somewhere "repetition is the mother of all skills" and its pretty much how I look at things.

        April PS

        April svenskaspel

Losing was the re-occuring theme for the month. So towards the end, I dropped alot in volume, increased study time and also involved svenskaspel again. Im looking to keep mixing both in the start of may and see how it develops. Some instant cashflow from svenskaspel is very much needed short-term, and it also allows me to work on my game with the 5 table limit.

Looking to buckle down in may and work hard.

Doing very well at svenskaspel in may.

I would rate this sample A-. Just lacking some focus in certain spots but overall Im very happy with how Im playing right now. Im also content with that I recognize I can do even better in certain spots, just got to do the exercises and put in the work off the tables.

Havent played that many hours (12) which is fine imo. Been more interested in watching and going trough some more dense material in order to work on my game. Hopefully more +ev in the long run.

So the plan for this week is to keep playing and studying alot. Will increase the play time progressively and by the end of may find myself putting in alot of hours again. By then, I could potentially be going back to stars and 1/2$ if it works out as planned.

Ill put some hands up here after next session and maybe Ill write about something Ive been thinking alot about recently.

Didnt play anything at all on the 10th of may. I did however spend some time chilling and doing some laid back study while relaxing. A day off basically.

        Graph for may.

Super low volume, its even low for 5 tabling. Its only 15 hours of work. I think Ive spent double that time reading and learning and that has been my priority so I cant really expect anything else in terms of volume. Im however looking to put the hours in back at the tables again to make sure I might be able to play 1/2$ at stars in june. Would be great.

        Some goals for coming week:
        • Play 30 hours
        • Study 15 hours
        • Daily updates along with interesting hands
        • Upload a video from svenskaspel

Might end up playing more but we will see. Wish me luck.

Are you up or down overall since your first post (December 2012)? Do you have an overall cash graph since you started?

Sharkscope has you down $4300 lifetime on stars. You hit your peak about 5 years ago when you were up $77 but have since dropped around $4400.

I could probably put a graph up if I assembled the databases. Problem is its split onto different comps so its unlikely to happen and probably not worth the time. Im for sure down on stars lifetime after recent months so the numbers you say isnt chocking to me . Im also very sure of the majority of my profit has been at svenskaspel.

No, only tournaments. I meant he was at one point up $77 playing tournaments and should have quit. He kept playing and is now down over $4,000.

The bad thing about low & mid stakes cash is that it's not tracked (probably because if it was, it would discourage people from playing more and losing more) so you never know if anyone is up or down.

OP, i'm just curious, I wasn't asking you to actually post graphs. If you ask most people about their poker winnings/losses they will generally say they are winning players but who really knows.

I highly doubt Ive bought in for 4k$ worth of tournaments, I can only remember 6-7 and the most expensive one being today at scoop. Im probably just forgetting a ton of events since I have never cashed on stars.

        __________________________

Didnt play more then 1.5h cash and 2.5h plo scoop tournaments. Broke even in cahs games and got knocked out right before the cashing in the tourneys.

Putting up some hands tomorrow first thing.

Thanks for the support . It means alot.

Thats the question. Losing 150 buyins sets me back abit roll wise but I think after a positive may at svenskaspel, I might be able to go back to 1/2$ and take it from there. If I can push out a couple of 100-150k vpp months it wont be a problem to catch up. As you said, the losses kinda hurt since I dont have a infinite roll but SNE is still achivable.

Very slow paced day. Woke up late, did some dishes and then warm-up, study and grind for 2h. Then I had to go to training and do shopping after. Back home, I was too tired to focus so I decided to read spanish/book and review the day.

Two hours got to count as decent time playing. Tomorrow Im looking at 4-8.

A couple of hands from today. Feel free to comment and ask questions, its much appreciated.

I think updates every 3-4 days would be good so you have more time studying/playing!
Sounds cool. Havent decided yet but I will be starting tomorrow night with something. It will be regular though.

Sup all. Things are looking good and Im playing very focused/with high quality. Routines outside of playing such as study, reviewing and spanish/maths is going OK aswell. The math is very basic and probably not considered very hard but I dont mind getting the fundamentals refreshed.

              Graph for may.

I think 1/10 of the volume was in the end of april so nevermind that first part. All in all, Im doing good results-wise and Im happy with that, leaving mars & april behind me.

Rest of may will be hard work and dedication. Video coming up tonight and it will probably the one I record today.

Ran decently hot and played well. Didnt get into too much trouble and I won the majority of the all-ins. Only played 2 hours due to the weather. Was ridicilously good and sunny so I had to go outdoors for a change.

A luxury problem on the flop.

Villain is tagged as a fish but I cant remember how he plays. I think the label can change between loose/bad regular or decent fish.

              BB: $2,071.09 (207.1 bb)
              Hero (BTN): $1,352.32 (135.2 bb)
              SB: $2,015 (201.5 bb)

              Preflop: Hero is BTN with Q Q 6 9
Hero raises to $28.75, SB folds, BB raises to $91.25, Hero calls $62.50

              Flop: ($187.50) 4 7 Q (2 players)
              BB bets $100, Hero ??

I wasnt sure at this point how he plays postflop in these spots. If he percieves me to be raising this flop alot or not. I think we should have a larger raising range then calling range, and the minority of our range will be folding. Im just a bit unsure were to put QQ6x with the blocker to possible 56xx he could have. 56xx in his shoes got some options vs. any play I make, wether its call or raise.

              Any input would be cool.

raise small unless he 2 barrels often imo.

              what's your vpp count?
