Hey guys,

So this is my first crack at the digest. Sorry I suck at life, but I've been busy and, well, I have no real excuse. I think that there has been a lot of really good discussion in the past few months, so I'm going to try to highlight some things that went really well and maybe some posts that didn't get a lot of discussion going (but were very insightful and/or helpful.)

I figure you guys know where all the LC and NC stuff is, so I probably won't include that unless there's a huge uproar (please PM with your thoughts either way) but I do want to tell a story at the end that I have promised Kit for the past 4 or 5 months.

Preflop

Jesse seems to get into a tough spot with AQs

What to do with AJs against an UTG raise

Cap, call or fold? AQo against someone all-in (and 5 people who aren't)

Postflop

Knowing when to give up: Jacks against LP's

Kit shows us how S-M-R-T he is

Requisite Bob T. Post

Common river spot with UI AKs

The oft misapplied FSDR

Requisite river VB situation

Pulling up our britches and going to Midstakes

More of Jesse's antics against an AI player

Raising the turn with nothing: A How-To

Some fun with (not) Clarkmeistering

So, onto the Kit story.

Back during college football season, Kit and I were at the Borgata for some dinner after sleeping after an all-night session. On the way to the hotel, he remarked on my many shirts (I bring lots of shirts in case my mood changes or have a fashion disaster or something.) I laughed it off and said that I'm high-maintence or something like that, and we had dinner at the Wolfgang Puck bar. First off, we had a reservation and the hostess was extremely mean to us. She was trying to desperately convince us to not eat in the actual restaurant with the patricians, but to eat at the bar with the rest of the plebs and hoodlums. We were a little annoyed at the girl who probably thought we were the the kind of dorks she was mean to in high school. We are.

Anyways, we finally get seated at the bar and order and get our food. Kit got some bruscetta with his meal and promptly flings it directly onto me. He had a look of horror on his face and started to apologize. I said "No worries, this is why I bring 4 shirts for two days" and walked out to my car and changed. This is why you should always wear a poncho when eating with Kit.

I believe this was also the weekend we saw people go ~20 bets on a T873 board. Neither of them had J9. One had 69 and the other had A9 A rag 6 fell on the turn and they chopped it.

These were also the two most loose-passive players at the table. They both had brain aneurysms at the same time. It was epic.
