This is really a BIG friendship deal that is offered to you. It's an EASY yes on your part, from a business perspective.
However, if you care about the friendship, what you should put in place is a clear exit strategy. I'm not a fan of this, but should things not work out, there are no bad feelings and it's simply numbers you have agreed on.
Your friend will agree bc he is not rly doing this from a business perspective.
As somebody running this type of coaching professionally, i can tell you it takes a lot of time and experience to figure out the right numbers (as i'm not doing things for free
. And i do take things personally more often perhaps than i should (and i say this as a BUSINESS guy, so imagine how a friend is gonna be lol)
This way your friendship can continue...altho, if u part over this stuff, maybe the friendship was never that strong in the first place.
For people who say "separate money and business". I'd not rly agree...to me it shows the character of a person when they have a BIG decision.
Often you just don't wanna find out, nor care.
U don't test the honesty of somebody by giving him a chance to steal $10. Very few will do that.
Exchange that for $1000 and you will see how much you're worth
