Kinda, but not really. It actually increases their fpps from PS.

OK I searched a bit more and this is what I found:

There is some kind of bonus that you earn "IPPs" (intellipoker points) which can be somehow transformed into FPPs depending on your VIP status. You also get bonus points if you reach the final table of the Sunday Warumup, 100 Grand or Million.... 10k points for first...

from link

Didnt say anything about the avatar though...
05-09-2008 , 05:21 PM
Now I found this

This is a way how to get rakeback at stars. Read under Ausbildung, Interaktive werkzeuge.

from 2+2 link

Edit: I want Stars RakeBack. Scotty maybe you could come and tell us more about this and is it only open to German players? -Scott
05-09-2008 , 05:24 PM
more

they get a few fpp's per day if they have the avatar (smth like 5-12) the better your status - the more fpp you get.

another 2+2 link
05-09-2008 , 05:37 PM
more

It gives away no-deposit Bonuses or Tournament Tickets after passing a quiz and it gives you FPPs for every Post in the forums.

link is here

apparently they get alot of cool bonuses since they are affiliated with Stars
And it is only for German players too I take it

I play with these Intelli poker Avatar guys at Microlimits all the time. I remember some of them doing some wild stuff. I'll post any real doozies from now on. They are by no means at an advantage imho.

I think it works similar to most german engineered products ... When it runs good it runs real good, but when it isn't running good it will cost a lot to repair.

But the site is only German in the language it uses.

I understand that if you're Austrian and speak German, you can use the site.

josem - What if I'm in Germany but don't speak a word of German?
05-09-2008 , 07:00 PM
i wouldnt be surprised if stars was up to something shady since they dont allow dataming. who knows what goes on there.
05-09-2008 , 07:27 PM
What if I can speak German but am nowhere near Germany? I've never put an avatar up at Stars and am considering whoring myself out.

05-09-2008 , 09:54 PM
I think we have to have a photoshop contest with this photo from the intellipoker site

Are you guys all ******ed? Do you even read the freaking thread before you make such stupid posts? Its been stated CLEARLY several times now in this thread, what this whole IntelliPoker thing is about. Yet you still go on about saying its "shady" or something, i mean the guy even explained the relation to that suspicious link.

READ, THINK (???)... jesus

Well maybe it's not shady, but it is kind of lame that they have stuff like this on the intellipoker site (from the downloads section):

No Limit Holdem - Das Spiel vor dem Flop (Short Stack Strategy)
Die von uns empfohlene Preflop-Strategie f?r die No-Limit Holdem (Full Ring) SSS.

Datei: Starthands_nlh_sss.zip | Dateigr??e: 1.00 MB | Version: 1.0

Ah, whoso shall not see but the willfully blind.

Ok, so you're a poker site that for years has claimed to fight bots. You decide to affiliate with a bot promoting, card sharing "strategy site." To hide your tracks, you make the site available only in a dying language.

When called on it, what's the first thing you would do? That's right, deny, deny, deny.

What's the first thing said site did here? Denied it!!! How much more obvious does it get?

Ergo ad absurdum: They obviously promote bots.

Uhh, ok if I own a house that some guy killed his family in - I obviously will kill my family too...

Your logic is flawed. They said quite bluntly, that the guy had a site (the .net name) that they wanted. He also made a bot that was used on Stars (which they wanted to eliminate). They offered him $$ in exchange for the domain name (to go with their .com name of the same type) and to take the bot off of the market for good. He accepted, which tells me that they probably gave him a ****load of money to do it. It killed 2 birds with one stone. First sometime down the road (ie. now), some guy wouldnt wonder why a site selling a poker bot had the same name as a sponsored forum (except it was a .net, instead of .com). Second, they got rid of the hole card sharing bot, without even having to worry about it ever again. They now dont have to look for it running on users computers, they got him to remove it from circulation completely.

Edit: after looking at the "dying language" comment, I just have to wonder what kind of education you have... lol

Well, I think you're wrong.

If you live elsewhere, and speak German, I assume you can make use of it just fine.

Doesnt it say that it is for German players? Just the same as some of the tourneys say that they are for German players? It does say that others are coming soon...

(Edit: perhaps it is that only German players have the option under help tab enabled. kind of the same as when you try to enter a german only tourney it denies you?)
05-10-2008 , 04:54 AM
I think you have to download Stars from that site (IP.com) in order for the IP option to appear in the help section in your Stars client. Also that is also how they give you the free FPPs, etc.

Wow this site seems like it has alot of "perks" for them to join. First they credit the "IPPs" everynight. You get alot more if you play in big tourneys, less if you dont...

On second thought, all of you people that speak english nevermind...

(**odin thinks that he should keep all of this info to himself** =p)

Edit: it is only open to German players according to the IP website. that is why it is only enabled on their version of the software...
