Go Abe!!!

Maybe Pokergo are running the POY. They seem to be into giving incomplete coverage.

shots fired

Miami John finally in an event (HORSE), which helps make up for Doyle faking me out.
Sweating Benny & ODB in NLSD.

Daniel gets a lot of us a 2nd place.
David Bach with a massive chiplead 6 handed in the dealers choice is working out well too
06-07-2017 , 09:43 PM
More importantly it gives me a 1st
06-07-2017 , 11:06 PM
Uniqueness score of 43. Even I haven't heard of most of my team!

Rep Porter is running deep in $1,500 No-Limit 2-7 Lowball Draw, (and Dan Shak cashed in something), so I won't get skunked for the first week.

Boom. David Bach wins the dealers choice.

(You're welcome Adam)

And I sweated Rep right out of the tournament. Sorry!

At least he outlasted Hellmuth.

My score is 119 which is on the high side of the average which is 80
Finally got around to adding mine up.
120

Anyone higher?

**EXCEL HELP NEEDED**

I have copied all the POY results from the wsop website for the individual events into excel. The formatting is pretty rubbish and it put everything in a single column. I removed all the unnecessary information and I now have a sheet like this for each event:

I have also made this sheet:

How do I get the appropriate data from the first sheet into the 2nd sheet?

TIA

I think you want to insert a column to the left of the player name on the sheet for each event. Then you want to have the points for that event to the left of the player's name, which can be done easily by formula. Then in the main summary page, you want to use the VLOOKUP function to obtain the data from the individual sheets. All in all, quite a PITA though.

Through yest.:

Benny 101.59
ODB 145.64
Marco 99.46
Mouth 71.82
TOTAL 418.51

Sweating Marco & ETay in day 2 of HORSE. Adam Owen & DU still without a cash.

Sorry to be an old useless person but would you mind showing me exactly what I should type in to get the information in the right place.

=VLOOKUP(???)

I could probably help out with this if you need a hand. Spend all day writing vlookups and index(match(match)) anyways so what's a few more...

Sorry if I'm repeating myself but the official results on WSOP.com don't have POY points for event #2 (and #10). Where did you find them?

There's a long hand way of working them out.
For example, Daniel currently has 160.4 points, 133.8 of which come from the 10k 08. He therefore got 26.6 for the tag team - which kind of makes sense if you split the team points 4 ways.

That sounds like a lot of work. Once you can verify Daniel's points, then you can run the rest through the calculator that they provided. You'll need that for the 1K tag team because they won't be in the Top 100. The good news is that most of the players who cashed the 1K probably weren't picked in the draft.

I have not yet got any data for the tag team events. I will tweet at WSOP and KevMath and ask what the points are.

Thanks for the help offer janky, I've emailed you.

Ran a database program to get a complete list of POY rankings (excluding tag teams) and found something interesting: the WSOP.com numbers don't agree with the Top 100 numbers. Thomas Pomponio is #1 either way but he's 347.08 on the Top 100 but 347.6 on WSOP.com. They differ by 1/2 point. If you use their calculator, wsop.com has the correct number - Top 100 is wrong. Which is official?

Cool, just sent you some scoring data. Hopefully you get it because I'm off to a bachelor party tomorrow!

We have a score update!!

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...#gid=584156833

It's all thanks to jankynoname who did this

It's for events up to #11 excluding the tag teams (we're still trying to figure out what's going on with them).

I'm just putting it straight up there because it's been a long time with no updates, but I would advise everyone to check their own team and players (mistakes can happen!)

When I get back from work I'll make it look prettier and get some sort of leader board that shows who's in 1st etc.

enjoy

Thanks to both of you for your efforts.

My scores look to be correct (not counting the tag team events #2 & #10).

Does anyone know how much, if at all, Jason Somerville is planning on playing this summer?
