Hello Pokercast Crew!

Awesome podcast and I am glad you were picked up for another year.

I'm listening mostly from the road between Thief River Falls, MN (3644 miles from Kells) and Eden Prairie, MN (3700 miles from Kells) on my Friday drive home to EP. I love the length of your show. It gets me over 1/2 the way home. [Soon to be permanently in TRF (140.4 miles from Winnipeg) -- Looking for a Canadien Sponsor somewhere in between Winnipeg & TRF so I can play the big events online]

I would like to thank you for a little indirect pokercast 'run good'. Two weekends ago I was watching Ross on the twitch stream on Sunday and binked 6 bounties and a (I think a) 12th place finish in a 1M Play Money 450-450 tourney for a little over 3M in PM then turned around and took Second in the Sunday Billion for about 56M in PM (Moniker:5DIMNDS). It was a good day My wife would prefer real money so she can go shopping.

Love the show and can't believe Terrence has been there over a year now.

Keep being yourselves and the show will be great!

Later,

DouglasP

You can find some inexpensive property around Vita and Letellier. Or look into renting a cabin in the South-East of the province.

Thanks, I'll do that! We were already planning to go up and check out Winnipeg for the restaurants, attractions and theaters. Everybody at work head up for quick get aways.

Hi guys,

my name Obi and I'm listening to your show from Altenmarkt, south east of Munich in beautiful Bavaria, Germany. It is about 1701 km away from Kells (walking distance according to Google Maps).
I used to listen to your show on my commute to work but since I got fired I'm listening while doing house work or mowing the lawn. We're expecting our first child in a few weeks, so then I'm gonna listen while pushing a stroller
I really enjoy every minute of the podcast, so keep up the good work and please don't ever go under the 3 hour mark

By the way, my offer to show you around Munich or the Oktoberfest still stands, as I stated in my email a few weeks ago. But I guess you won't make it to Germany after all, since plans don't seem to have developed a lot over the last weeks

Cheers
Obi

Add me as another listener from Winnipeg. Gives me something to do on the deathly boring daily bus commute.

Listening from Munich, Germany.

Recently started listening again. I stopped listening when Mike stopped at the pokercast (nothing to do with you, adam, I promise :-) ), because I was sort of getting out of poker and it seemed like a valid stopping point. I recently graduated and got back into Poker again, so I have been binchlistening everything I've missed. Sometimes I listen while grinding, but mostly at night when I go to sleep, which has led to sometimes dreaming about the pokercast or topics from it. (mostly non-weird stuff :P)

I have now binchlistened up to the point where you guys started mentioning the Where in the world are you listening thead, so I thought I'd post here. I'm only up till like #353 so, no spoilers! Pokerstars being approved in New Jersey is already a massive spoiler btw.

Love having T Chan on the show, he brings a lot of great insight and Ross' drops are legendary already!

Cheers

p.s. Now I have to listen to like 30 episodes to find out if you still mention this thread on the show

Hi guys,

I am listening to your show from Amersfoort, the Netherlands (1201 km from Kells) and have been doing so for quite a number of years. Probably since around episode #150.
Listening to the podcast has never gotten me to outgrow the nano-stakes ring games on 888 and stars. Listening to you guys has kept me enthousiastic about the game and thrilled to play whenever i am away too long. At least i am beating the 1/2 (c) NLH games to feed that into the 2/5 cent poker economy

I was surprised to hear that the pokercast does not rank well (to say the least) in iTunes. Looking it up, it actually ranks very high on "two plus two" and "pokercast". It's probably time for some podcast SEO magic. At least make sure the word "Poker" is in the title, publisher field and/or description (not just pokercast).
Ratings also matter.
I am no iTunes SEO guru, but there are plenty articles around when you find how to rank higher. More people deserve to listen to you guys for 3 hours a week!

On that note, I wouldn't mind keeping the podcasts around 2 hours. I drive a little less these days and that would make it a lot easier to keep up. I will listen nevertheless!

Adam, thanks for taking over the wheel when Mike jumped out
T, you're still the new guys and are doing great
Rosco, keep it up! The scratching after the airhorns could be trimmed down a bit man!

I enjoy the show from Santa Cruz, California; usually in 45-60 minute chunks while driving, exercising or working. No dead bodies or hoses involved. Top show segments: In Case You Missed It; Mailbag; Ross Report; and most guests. Thanks.

Hey guys,
I usually listen when I'm working my construction job in northern Alberta I'm 21 years old and have been listening for almost 3 years now, the podcast definitely makes my work days go by faster. I mostly play mid stakes PLO and MTTs (I sent you guys a hand a few weeks ago from the Sunday million where I play kings pretty unconventionally to say the least). I'm going to be in Vancouver in late December to watch my oilers play the Canucks and maybe get some pokers in to I was wondering what casino Ross plays PLO at and if the game runs regularly?
Ps Adam quit being so nitty at PLO

I listen on my 30-40 minute drive to and from work in Tucson, AZ.

I used to listen from Phoenix back when MJ was on. I moved to Tucson and lost interest in and time for poker so I stopped listening. I started listening again a few months ago, and was surprised at all the things that changed with the show. Terrence hasn't replaced MJ, rather he's brought a completely different set of skills to the show. Same goes for Rosco.

The show is just as interesting to listen to now as it was before. My only complaint is the inconsistent levels (not an audio guy, is that the right terminology?) causing me to crank my volume up and down throughout the show. Loudest: Rosco's opening and the air horns. Softest: Adam at various spots in the show.

Ok i don't know why it took me so long to post ITT, since yall have been asking for so long. I'm from Gordo AL --I give 0 ****es how far that is from Kells. I started listening to the show around 2010.

I travel for around 8-12 hours a week an listen to the show when driving and/or flying. I like the new show, but must say i miss Mike. I used to think i hated how much time he spend talking about donkaments, but now i miss that talk. I wish more time could be spend on the "Ross report". I normally don't like that much strat talk, but i like the banner during that part of the show.
