Where in the world are you listening from? Where in the world are you listening from?

Hey guys, love the show. Been a listener for only about 6 months, I usually listen from my car going to and from work and/or my weekly home game. I’m in West Hartford, CT, USA (3060 miles from Kells). Mostly a no limit live tournament player, but always enjoy the strategy conversation about other games and online play.

Since you asked for feedback, the show from Adam’s house last week sounded good (unlike the show from Vegas the week before, which sounded like it was being recorded in an empty hotel ballroom). Loved the segment at the very end of the show with your son. Quick JRB story since he was on the show… I don’t get to Vegas very often but was able to go for a work conference this past April. Played the Aria nightly tournament and finished 4th, and after I cashed out just before 3am (on a weeknight with a meeting to go to first thing in the morning) JRB runs right into me on his way back from the men’s room – wearing a bathing suit, stained white wifebeater t shirt, and flip flops – he looked like a homeless guy. “Sorry man”.

Anyway, keep up the good work!

Hey guys, I'm listening from Victoria BC, around 7,200 kilometers from Kells. Love listening to your show as I'm donating money unwillingly to the Omaha H/L reg fund online. Thanks for all your hard work.

Hey guys, I'm listening from Wellington, New Zealand; 7616 miles from Kells, or 12256.8 kilometers.
Have only been playing poker for real money the last 3ish months, and only found the show maybe two months ago, but have already listened to dozens of episodes; being a convert after the first one I heard.
All the segments are great, but my favorite has to be the Rossco Report.
Keep up the awesome work.

Hey guys, posted previously but thought I'd give you an update.

Was last week listening to the pokercast at Glastonbury festival (only 250 miles as the crow flies from Kells) and I shall next week be listening on the beaches of Ibiza (1097 miles from Kells). I struggle to sleep after a heavy night of partying and sometimes listen as I am still wired and it helps relax me.

I posted a while ago (back on page 4) but thought I would expand on just my location (which is on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, USA, just a short 5317 km or 3304 miles from Kells). I have an hour ride to work and usually listen to the podcast in the car during the commute. But lately I have been listening at my desk in the office since the shows have been so interesting and I don't want to wait to finish it on the ride home. It takes a while since work tends to interrupt the podcast and I have to rewind constantly. I gave Terrance a souvenir from my job when I met him in Vegas recently at the WSOP. He couldn't have been nicer and I'm sorry I missed Adam and Ross during my trip. Keep up the gr8 work and thanks for making my days on the job go by quicker.

I've noticed an interesting verbal tic from Adam. 9 out of 10 times, he'll refer to this as the "Where are you listening to from thread." It is slightly jarring, but also endearing.

Greetings from the sandbox!
Long time listener and very long time lurker (note join date vs post count). I always listen to your podcast at work to help get me through the day. I'm a NLH cash player who uses that money to subsidize his love for NLH tourneys.

There are free weekly tourneys held out here, but there are also some nice "gray area" cash games (5/5 often with multiple straddles) if you know where to look.

I know you guys wanted some critiques but don't really have anything. Only request would be if we had a few more non big name poker people like the lady who won 3 tourneys in a row at her local spot. That was an awesome interview. Or interview Phil Ivey, basically the same thing.

Keep doing what you're doing and if any of you will be in Florida for the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open $5M guarantee, let me know as I'll be in country for that 8/13-8/19 and would love to shake your hands.

Just got done listening to this week's podcast and heard several requests to post...soo....

Listening from California, about 5026 miles from Kells.

Listened to every 2+2 episiode, as well as a few prior to 2+2. Most of my listening is done at work. I prop for a local card room, grinding out several thousand hours of low limit poker in the past few years (a lot of weak 4/8 LHE games with a $5 drop!) Your banter helps keeps me sane and drowns out the intollerable ramblings and ridiculous poker strategy talk at the table. THANKS!

My only interaction with the pokercast other than listening, came in the form of a generous Adam at the very early stages on my online play. He was shipping people $11 for some big promotional pokerstars tourney...I can't remember which. Apparently he forgot some (or all) of us. He offered to send me $109 for a single table SNG as an apology. At the time it seemed like a crazy amount of money for a stranger to send, so I declined. He insisted, and I accepted. Made some sort of cash and was super excited. I had never played that big. I sent Adam back the $109, thanked him, then quickly busted the profit in a few hours. Still an awesome memory!

I'm an Australian expat from Brisbane (which can justify a 45 min commute by the way!), living in Denver, Colorado, about 100 miles from Leadville, Colorado.

Have listened to every episode since the 2+2 era began, which has provided years of enjoyment and chuckles. I listen to fantasy football podcasts in the football season, then spend the offseason catching up on the Pokercast, so right now I have the luxury of posting in real time!

My favourite drop is "many zeros" so if you read this on air, please oblige. Also, if you could have a "least favourite things"/"most hated things" segment, that would be great. I especially enjoy Terrence's rants of life's annoyances, e.g. click-bait.

Thanks for the years of entertainment and keep it up.

Hey guys, new listener here from Montreal, Quebec, 4705km away from Kells! (unfortunately, being a new listener I'm not sure why Kells is so important).

I'm a younger player, going off to my first year at university in September. I've been playing poker at home games for about a year or so and have recently started getting more serious about my game. I've been playing at local casino's and poker rooms as well as online for the past month or so and really enjoying it.

The podcast has been a great to listen to and I especially look forward to the Rosco Report, listening to a new player like me describe his hands and lines, while more advanced players critique them is really helpful. (Even I know that was definitely a fold though)

Keep it up guys, you're really doing an awesome job!

The next Pokerstars VIP party should be in Kells.

Long time listener living in Denver Colorado (4363 miles from Kells). I normally listen on my commute or while riding my bike through my beautiful state. Until this year I had attended every PokerCast party. I am still tilted that I did not make it to this years event, as even though Super Stud has been a mainstay in my home game for the past couple of years, I cannot seem to generate any enthusiasm for 2nd best holdem or 3 flop Omaha high low at my home game, and will have to wait another year to lose a huge pot by having quads wiped out by a river deuce on my board. And while I truly miss MJ and the Bunner, I think the show is as good as it ever was. Terrance and Roscoe are fantastic and Adam has really stepped up as the primary host.
Thanks for doing what you do.

I'll consider the oblique reference to this post in Ep. 371 a shout out.

The tick that's getting to me is the, "But, no."

How about Adam's "INDEEDS"? Much better than MJs "Ums and Ahs"-indeed!

Coming up to nearly 4 years religious listener to the podcast, typical listener while falling asleep or the daily commute.

Tuning in from way down south of Australia, on the island of Tasmania! (13248km from Kells)

Keep up the good work guys!

Hey Guys!

Listening from London, England. 308.06 miles from Kells as the crow flies or 416.94 miles if I were to drive it.

Started listening during my first year of university in 2008 and continued listening throughout my undergrad, my postgrad, my professional playing days and now I listen on my commute to and from my job in the gambling industry. Don't think I've missed a podcast since.

Was a bit sceptical at first when MJ dropped out and Adam had a couple of revolving guest co-Hosts but really glad with T came on-board full time (ish). Contrary to most people in here I actually enjoy his ranting and raving and like the way you guys play off each other.

I've also enjoyed listening to Ross evolve as both a Producer and on-air talent. I know he's come under a bit of flack recently in the show threads but I think he's come a long way over the last year or so. I'm sure he'll continue to improve and thus so will the show.

Favourite segments are "In case you missed it" and "The Roscoe Report". In a perfect world for me the show would last at least 5 hours to cover my entire weeks commuting time but definitely understand that having it so long may put off the casual listeners.

Keep up the good work and looking forward to the next show

Good evening Adam, Terrence, and Ross. I've been listening for about four years now, 21 years old and from a town in North Wales called Denbigh.
Always been a big fan of the podcast and the new revamped version especially. Despite the fact that you guys always say how low quality the podcast is, it's easily my favourite on itunes, fu*k serial.
I agree with what the guy said in last weeks podcast as well about having some more poker players/people in the industry that aren't big names.
Hopefully I get some Pokercast rungood from this as I'm planning on playing the Micromillions main on Sunday, which will be my biggest buy-in tournament to date. Yes I am a baller. Hopefully I'll be able to pay for my Master's degree when I bink the thing. Alternatively if Brian Hasting's is listening he could sub me 15k, he needs some good PR.
Thanks for providing us with great shows for the past few years, and hopefully you keep going for another while yet.

Hi Adam, Terrence and Ross,
I'm a small stakes recreational live player who lives in Vicksburg, Michigan, which is 3533 miles from Kells.
The Pokercast is my favorite podcast out of a long list. I listen to it first and then wait all week for the next one to come out. I loved the insider discussions about Vegas, especially since I haven't been there yet. Everybody likes to Ross Report, me included. Thanks for the great work.

Hey all,

This is Lize van der Mei listening from Leeuwarden, Fryslân, The Netherlands. 840 km from Kells. I have been listening for about 3 years now and it is one of y favorite podcasts together with dan Carlin's Hardcore history which I found thanks to you guys. I am usually a couple of episodes behind which means that I have someting good to listen to during my weekly train journey to the head office of the company I work for. But since it is my holliday now I am up-to-date and listening from my garden. I am always looking forward to the show, especially the Rosco report. Keep up the great work.

Best regards,
Lize

Hull England 534km from Kells. Do you think Noel Hayes was from Kells? I did some fact checking about Kells, as of 2011 it had a population that was less than the entrants of the main event (5,888 to be precise). There is also an oscar nominated film called the secret of Kells! You have been talking about moving the world series...why no Kells.

by the way I always laugh at your terrible pronunciation of UK town names so even though Hull is spelt as above it must be pronounced 'Ull'!

keep up the great work guys.

Listening from deepest, darkest Somerset, England (257 miles from Kells) on the daily commute to work. I'm a little behind but good to hear MJ again in episode 372. It did make me realise that I don't really miss him anymore so well done to Terrence on filling those shoes!
