Receiving the soundboard-drop-terror in Basel, Switzerland (4. Swiss in the thread), beatiful live poker desert i live in

I'm in since the very old days I guess - still enjoy the show, bingelistening to a set of them every other few weeks.

Listening to your show mostly when on public transport or at work (I'm kind of a quizmaster at an online bingo site) when giving away free money to the players.

Thanks for the entertainment and keep up the good work!

Regards,

P.s. Any pro advice on how to swim (or book a ferry) to Kells? Maybe this could be a useful new Pocercast segment...

Hoquiam, Washington USA, on Grays Harbor near the pacific coast.

I listen because it is 50 miles to decent shopping from here and because the podcast is excellent. I have listened since the Rounders days. Keep up the good work.

Hi I've been listening from Tegucigalpa, Honduras since the Stu Ungar episode all the way back to God knows when. I used to listen while grinding husngs but now that I barely play anymore I mostly listen while working and cooking at home.

I must admit, I think that the show has become a bit dry since MJ left, I miss the chemistry with him and Adam but Terrance has been doing a great job filling those big shoes and it's still the best news show in the poker world and one of the best made podcasts period. As a podcaster myself, I'm jelous of you guys for having a producer like Ross (not linking my own podcast to avoid this coming back to my own good but not as good producer) though I could do with fewer drops. lol.

Timika, Papua, Indonesia

The internet here is so slow that it takes 4 hours to download the podcast on a good day but worth every minute of waiting.

Guess I should mention that I'm an Expat and have been working here for about 2 1/2 years. Home base is Dawsonville, GA.

Keep Up The Good Work Guys!!!

Hey Adam & Co.
Proud to say I'm a long time listener from back in the days of Rounders. Pretty much lived and breathed the poker entertainment aspect from those early days to late 2012 when I drifted away from playing online on a regular basis. I've always listened to all the top Poker related Podcasts out there, but have to say the PokerCast is the only one where I can honestly say I've never missed an episode.
I'm listening from Sydney Olympic Park, which in recent years has increased it's residential occupancy. Every 2nd / 3rd Night I go for a run, fireup my Wireless Beats Headphones and my Samsung Smart Watch and run 12kms around the precinct with you guys in my ears. Once I'm done running I listen to the tail end of the show in the spa and sauna occasionally being able to perve on a young hottie or two at the same time.
Pics posted next time for a shout out

Thanks for the entertainment, and the laughs.

PS. Love to hear some more interviews with the old school celebs of the initial poker boom.

Finally getting caught up on the PokerCast and figured I make my post here. I listen in Austin, Texas (which according to Google is a bit less than 7400 kilometers from Kells). I just started listening to the PokerCast on the very tail end of the Rounders days when a coworker suggested I check it out. I had a hiatus when I was frustrated with many things in my life, poker being one of them. But I came back once I was off life Tilt about two years ago and plan on never leaving the fold again.

Like a lot of the way back listeners, I miss MJ and enjoyed hearing him again with the WSOP show a few weeks back. But Terrence "Hit Him In The Face" Chan has been a great addition as is Ross. Roscoe report has helped me remember a lot of the errors I made when I first started playing ten years ago and helped keep my head straight. Adam, you've really grown into the lead chair well. I'm glad you chose to take the challenge of keeping it going when MJ decided to step down.

Couple of shout outs I wanted to throw out there: Congrats to Dan Idema on his 3rd bracelet. I just saw the summary on the WSOP site yesterday. Adam, I know you must be proud given how much **** he must give you if there's any sibling rivalry there at all.

I also wanted to say thank you for the various "What to do at the WSOP" segments you ran a few months back. I have to admit it was listening to the segment on Jimmy Eats Vegas got my jones up to go back to Vegas (I had previously gone in January). Not long after listening to that show, I wound up pricing flights to see which WSOP tourney made more sense to take a run at: the Colossus or the Lucky 7s event. From a travel cost perspective I decided to go for the Colossus.

I threw up an inquiry on Facebook to see if anyone was interested in buying a little of my action to help offset the cost of multiple bullets and was pleasantly surprised when I sold 1/3 of my action in less than a day. I did wind up firing off all four bullets but made my first ever Day 2 of an event on the final shot. Got a few decent hands early to play back at my day 2 table chipleader which kept me healthy through to the money bubble. Once the bubble burst, a table break brought me some good luck as I went on a mini heater that quadrupled my stack. I then went card dead, but played smart and laddered as much as I could until my AQo got beaten by KK AIPF. I felt like I died a good poker death :-).

Prior to the Colossus, my biggest cash had been a 7 way chop in the Aria daily $125 in January. That was a $1400 payout, my first 4 figure score. Happy to say that the Colossus payout was more than double that. It has me dreaming of making a day 3/final table and a 5 figure score as my next poker goals. If you want to ascribe that to some Pokercast Karma, I'll happily write up a testimonial for advertisements :-).

Keep up the great work. May your aces never be cracked, and my your draws always get there.

Listening from Lacey, Washington. 40 mi. south of Seattle, or 4,530 mi. from Kells. I am an avid listener and haven't missed an episode since 2010. I use a podcast app called Downcast (highly recommended by the way) and when I was first introduced to the show, I dug into the back catalog. I listened at 2x or 3x speed to get caught up. Once I was caught up, it took me a while to get used to Mike and Adam's voices at normal speed. I was sad to see Mike go, but am still loving the show. Adam and Terence have found a real groove together and Ross brings a good balance to the mix as well. Keep up the good work.

As i go on my own selfish journey between cities in the UK, i think, where is the pokercast this week? I've been listening for about 5 years and often get a few weeks behind depending on my daily travel, recently though i'm up to date and waiting for the new episode, i even had to download serial despite the spoiler in the last episode about the conclusion or lack of it.
Anyway i digress, so i dig deeper, WOW that's why, well done to Dan idema on his third bracelet, Just checked the results to see if there is a reason why there is no show for me. and a few others i expect.
I never check the WSOP updates, but then Terrence Chan 7th of 11 in the $10k limit, now i will have to keep an eye on the updates, as if i don't have enough to do, it took me 5 years to get time to post on here.

Good luck Terrence i Hope you take / took it down.

Just in case you couldn't guess im 271.3m from Kells.

I am a long-time listener of the show. I'm in Milton, Ontario, which is 5235km from Kells. I was listening to this week's show when I qualified for the Daniel Negreanu Summer Party (played an $11 satellite last night). There really is something to the Pokercast karma. I'm really looking forward to going to the event and meeting Daniel and you guys. Hopefully scheduling works out for me.

PS: Adam - Does Kathy Liebert still have the best "twitter" in poker?
PPS: Keep putting out the great content, it is much appreciated.

Hello gents,

I'm from Finland but currently listening you from Dubai, United Arab Emirates (6100 km from Kells).

All gambling is illegal in UAE and even two plus two website is blocked, but luckily my podcast app still has the link to two plus two pokercast and I'm able to download your weekly rants. I had to wait until holidays back in Finland just to be able to post this message.

I fell in love with poker about 10 years ago while living in Dublin, Ireland (not far from Kells at all) and have been listening the show since it was in double digits.

My favourite guests have been definitely the old school British and Irish players, with Neil Channing being the most memorable. I must say Ilari was great too.

It's been over 2 years since I played a hand of poker but still can't stop listening to your show, so please keep up the good work!

Posted earlier when this thread just begun. 7803 km from Kells to Reno, NV. Listening during drives about town for work. Can't wait each week to download and listen. Pokercast goes right to the top of my list, ahead of Mike & Mike, Dan Patrick, Dave Ramsey and all. Thanks for hours of laughs and thought-provoking strat. Congrats to Terence on final tabling the Limit tourney.

Go Sharks!

Is it really 271.3m as in meters (m) or 271.3mi as in miles (mi)?

Funny, you got me wondering what city is the farthest away from Kells. If I'm doing this correctly, it would be whatever is closest to 53.7272° S, 173.1231° E. The nearest city that I can find to that location is Oban, on the east coast of New Zealand's Stewart Island: 11,909 miles away.

If there is a listener taking in the wit and wisdom of Adam and Terrence while waiting out the next sighting of the Aurora Australis, post here (and pics or GTFO).

Live down the road from Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. Listen weekly. Unfortunately in this past Oct '14, the government passed the Remote Gambling Act. Under the new law it is an offense, punishable by jail terms and fines, for people to place bets on overseas gambling websites from Singapore. The law took effect on Feb 1st this year when several hundred remote gambling websites were blocked...including Pokerstars, WSOP, etc. 2+2 though still alive and kicking!
