Adam,

I have been listening since 2009 when I discovered the show, I went back and listen to the older episodes and every one since. A great way to fill the hour drive to work and home again. Traffic in Toronto area is not the best.

The Pokercast is always the first I would listen too. In the past I played in the league as well as regularly in the Invitational. My Dad got me playing late in 2008 on Pokerstars for real money. He didn't listen but on Sundays, we would grind the lower limit tournaments, often railing each other during the day and talking after we busted. The invitational was a regular he would play as I would send him the password and no we are not Russian.

It was a great way for us to connect on Sundays and talk poker, even with him living 4 hours north of Toronto. During the 2010 WSOP we went down for a week and I played a few events and we explored Vegas, listening to his stories of Vegas in the 90's when he would go down for 3 - 4 months in the winter. Parking his RV in a Camp Ground close to the Horseshoe.

We played for fun and I would play a few live tournaments a year for fun, often as part of a vacation.

The last episode was the hardest I have had to listen too. Sunday he went deep in the Sunday Storm, busting out in top 500 or so (2nd time in a count of weeks). We then video talked on Skype so he could talk to my 9 month old. Sometime during the week he pasted away in his sleep and we found out on Friday. On Saturday I had to make the 4 hour drive north, but I was able to listen to the podcast on my way up. The hard part was when the password was given and I felt an emptiness knowing I couldn't email it to him. Playing on this last Sunday had a empty feel to it, but I will try to grind up some funds to go play the WSOP Seniors this year or the main event in his honor.

Thanks for all the great episodes, keep it up. I like the new format just as much as the old. I am glad you came into your own style quickly (I was worried for a few episodes) and Terrance has settled into the role of sidekick.

The Love Jar is still my favourite.

I listen from Memphis, TN. I have been listening since the spring of 2008. My favorite era of the Pokercast was from 2009-2012. Could someone please do me a huge favor, could you ask the music maven Mike Johnson if he likes any surf rock bands? Preferably from the early 60's, but modern bands will be fine as well. Thanks!

I'm listening from Atlanta, Georgia. I love the show, but I wasn't happy with Ali ****ting on my hometown this week. Regarding the state of poker here, there are some decent home games, but you have to network a bit.

48/m/Milton Keynes, England

Listener since (end of) Rounders days. I prefer not to work out how long ago that was.

Listen 100% of the time whilst driving my car working. 0% of the time whilst in bed. But occasionally listen when sleeping whilst driving... Had a quiet non driving period during Christmas - only just caught up with the show again.

On a longer journey, I can get the missus involved listening too. But she normally falls asleep and I have to work the stereo controls hard to handle volume variance during the ad breaks.

Used to listen to PokerRoad stuff, but this is pretty much my only Poker content these days.

Love the show. Hardly ever post - was teased out of lurkdom by the Music March Madness...

Lots of highlights - Trip reports (esp Winter Olympics/Masters), anytime Channing is on, Boston etc etc

Always intended on setting up some sort of weekly comp to set a line on how long MJs guest introductions would be. Never got around to it. Maybe there could be a line on T's number of "So" uses....

I'm rubbish at poker.

Los Angeles California -- Hollywood Park, (Adam's old stomping grounds), Sometimes The Bike or Commerce.

Been listening for a little over a year

Love the show, TChan is a really good co-host...I like the way he uses his critical thinking skills to answer all of Adam's silly hypotheticals.

I love that both of the hosts call things how they see them. It's what I've liked about 2+2 since the beginning. It's almost like the hosts don't worry about what advertisers would think, they just speak their minds. Very refreshing.

[Side note, JC Alvarado had great poker stories, And Chris Danek's tips for the WSOP were super informative. '2015 WSOP prep tips' is one of the best segment ideas I've heard]

Would love to hear from more guests like Mike Sexton, or JC Alvarado that just have cool stories to share back from the golden days.

While driving, but admittedly 2-3 episodes behind now--got sucked into Hardcore History with Dan Carlin and now The Man in the High Castle. Terrence is single handily leaking viewers with his favorite things

Jokes aside, good stuff guys, still loving the pokercast!

I am from United Kingdom, London If I go to the cinema I will listen to it for 30mins while the adverts and silly spoiler trailer run showing the best bits in future movies you might want to see which tilts the hell out of me, I would come in late but i want a good seat haha so this helps. or on the train or bus going home or when grinding at home, it's great when shows are 3hrs long as i can break up the show and make it last a few days until the next one comes out

ps I think you should do a bacon challenge with ross

Another Brit, from London, and have been listening for about 6 years. Loved the old format, love the new format

I listen whilst commuting to / from work - my commute is a 3hr round trip each day, so the longer the PokerCast the better imo.

Southeast corner of Houston Texas not far from Johnson Space Center. Usually listen while driving or playing live or online poker.

Not a big forum poster and I don't know where to put this, but has anyone read Thomas Friedman's article in the New York Times about our buddy Sheldon and the Israel Likud Party? The name of the article is "Is world diplomacy now Adelson's casino? You need to read this.

While I'm here, there are a few things from past pokercast's I'd like to address.

****, One of my top five favorite words/and or phrases:
1. ****
2. **** it
3. **** you
4. **** off
5. Pizza!!!

As far as guest suggestions, I was watching Jason Somerville on twitch the other day and he mentioned Tommy Angelo. Maybe you can get Jason, maybe you can get Tommy, Maybe both.

The story about driving through Watts brought back memories of the first and LAST time I used a GPS. I had gotten my wife a GPS for christmas. We took a trip to Pennsylvania and New Jersey to visit friends and relatives. My wife busted my balls to use it driving from Pennsylvania to New Jersey. Driving east on I-80 it had me get off onto the main street of Patterson NJ. The only saving factor is that it was still day light. Here I am stopped at a light and all these people are pointing at me and the next thing I know I have a little black lady standing right at my drivers door looking at me. I called my cousin and she put her husband on and I told him where I was. I'll never forget what he told me, he said "Your not supposed to be there." Well thanks for the heads up! I did make it out of there but it was pretty frightening.

I have more, but that's all for now.

Thanks, Ken Nigrelli

Hello Pokercast!

Unfortunately I am not prepping bodies in a morgue.. When listening to your podcast I am generally one of two places.

1) I am at work, where I work as a behavioral health technician working with clients with autism, schizoaffective, substance abuse, etc... When I have down time I will listen while grinding micro stakes on Bovada

2) More often I will turn this podcast on while driving to the casino and then continue to listen while playing $2/$3 - $3/$5 NLHE. I play at Talking Stick Resort (Casino Arizona).. Your podcast has provided me with many hours of entertainment as well as insight to the poker world.

I am a 27 year-old part-time poker player from Tempe, Arizona. I love the show and hope to hear more.. I am currently eating a chicken at Boston Market while simultaneously listening to your podcast and playing SSNLHE on my work phone using Bovada.

Hey Pokercast- 45 M here

I have listened to the show for years and years. It is the 1 podcast I listen to religiously every week. It really throws me off the weeks when there is no show so quit doing that.

I was a mid stakes grinder in South Florida. Had some success online and moderate success live mostly at 2/5 cash and playing tournaments. I have never had that signature win though but have been oh so close so many times. I have gone through periods of time where poker was my sole source of income but I find that having alternate sources of income sure lessen the stress of playing.

Anyways, as I said I was a mid stakes grinder in S. Fla. I currently find myself living at MD Anderson in Houston, TX. I was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer of the tonsil and tongue in November of last year. My life turned upside down at that point and I have not had a chance to play since. Even my poker bankroll has gone to fighting this disease. My prognosis is good, however, if the treatment does not kill me. Between the chemo and the radiation I have lost 30 lbs and and where I once was in great physical shape i am now a wreck. No time for a sob story but one of warning. The cancer I caught is sexually transmitted. It is the same cancer that Michael Douglas caught and is caused by the HPV virus. I contracted it through oral sex. The rate of occurrence of this type of oral cancer is expected to increase dramatically in the next few years. Anyways thought I would share that word of caution with everyone out there. Most people are shocked to hear what caused my affliction.

Anyways, I am counting down till my treatment is over - 43 days as of today. It has been a rough haul and is expected to get worse still but I put my head down and wake up each day to fight. I cant wait to get back on the felt and listening to the pokercast at least gives me a little taste of what I am missing. Keep up the good work.

been meaning to post here for a while now,

thanks to adam, terrence, mj and the producer guys for this great podcast.

im from london, uk, mid 20's. ive been listening to the pokercast since early 2010, although now that i think about it, maybe i started downloading it from 2009. i listen to it mostly during commutes but also during leisurely bike rides/shopping.

i've listened to close to all the podcasts produced by you guys (since i discovered it in 2010). ive probably missed around 5.

the podcast is great, and is one of the ones i look forward to the most despite me not playing much poker anymore, nor really following poker news either. the pokercast is a great source of poker news for me, but mainly its a good laugh and very entertaining. many thanks guys

ps. i love how it is like 3 hours long too. i prefer podcasts to music, and the pokercast ensures that ive always got a podcast to listen to during commutes

Just getting around to joining two plus two. Been a listener from day 1. The Team 1040, The Tijuana Brass intro to the last segment, Funner wit Bunner, etc. Adam sent me chips from the 2007 NBC Heads Up Championship and met me at that summer's WSOP. I play much smaller and less frequently than you guys but enjoy the show.

Looking at Boston's first round best bet about to come through yet again (along with his lock of Boise St) got me to finally join.
