Western NY.

I mostly only listen when filling up my gas tank. For some reason I'm really backlogged on episodes lately.

Really, mostly on my 1.5 hour commute to the "local" card room (I sure do miss the interweb poker).

-Been listening since before Phil Gordon was on the Poker Edge. Yikes!
-Still play online, but I'll never see any of the money.
-That's alright. The Philippines needs it more than I do.

2 of us here from Leicester, England.

I'm 23 and I've listened for a few months now. My 18 year old brother has been listening for a long time and eventually, and thankfully, I caved and listened too. We always reference the show and I've begun working my way through the archives now too.

Thanks for everything!

Matt and Tom

PS: I joined in July last year to ask the forums where to play 2-7 single draw. Would be fun to see it in the invitational some time soon!

Hi,

Usually listen from London area, UK, whilst driving. I live about a 45 min journey from my nearest casino(s) & have made it a tradition over the last 5 years or so to listen to the pokercast on the way there and back a few times a week. The hours spent driving and listening to the show genuinely make the evening every bit as worthwhile as the trip to the tourney itself. Poker nights would not be the same without listening to Adam and Terrence (or Mike previously) on the journey.

(I have listened to the last 2 shows from inside the arctic circle in northern Norway - maybe that puts me in with a shout of being, on a strictly temporary basis, your most northerly listener, but I imagine there may be some northern Canadians that pipped me to the post)

The numbers we get from Apple are between 50k/100k downloads per episode. A couple years back it was 100k/200k per week. The Howard Lederer interview has over 5M downloads.

Now these are downloads, I'm sure lots of people have subscribed but don't listen every week. Also, there are no metrics provided from Apple.

Good to know. I was thinking 200k per week listeners.
Just hoping there are gonna be more and more listeners in the future.

What could we all do to promote the show on the internet ? Maybe we could do something ! I don't know what but maybe some people have clever ideas, they could share it.
A separate show with general discussion ( every 2 weeks ? on whatever !! international topics, movies, lifestyle.... There are so many things to talk about.. I don't know, just throwing an idea).

If anyone finds it interesting, maybe creating a thread with ideas.
Poker players as invitees are always great cause they have interesting point of views on a lot of diff topics.

Just an idea

Montreal, Canada listener on iTunes.

I doubt you'd wanna sleep on my uncomfortable sofa, but I'll gladly buy a round of drinks and schwartz's smoked meat if the Pokercast crew makes it to MTL!

Hey guys, first time poster here on 2+2. Love the show.

- I'm 29 years old & I'm from St Helens, UK
- I listen to the show on my headphones at work
- I've been listening to the show for over 2 years
- I think Adam is doing a great job as main host and I really like the addition of Terrence (and Ross)
- I enjoy playing $50NL online in my spare time
- Guest suggestion - It would be interesting to hear how the 3 players from "Bet Raise Fold" are doing these days, Danielle Moon, Tony Dunst and Martin Bradstreet.
