Our first guest of the show is Pokercast forum mod and friend Xander Biscuits back for another edition of sheep game, but backwards. After some fun with Xander we’ve got Dan Gati from Poker Productions. Dan is in charge of Poker Go, the new subscription based streaming platform for WSOP events. We talk with him about how things are going, the feedback he has received about what games people want to see and the first year without the November 9 since 08’.
Our third guest of the episode is Joseph 'JoeyDel' Del Duca of the Australian Online Poker Alliance. We have talked about the legislation issues against online poker in Australia in the past and Joseph is fighting for his right and the rights of all Australians to continue to play online poker, we talk to him about why this matters and what they can do to help. There is also some more wonderful Voice and E-mails from you and WSOP themed 140 or less. Finally, Terrence has a few hands to review from the $1k Turbo.

We are back to not downloading properly. Any ideas?

It's just a pop-up that says Unable to Download Podcast -"#486-Poker ast 486...Peehs Game"could not be downloaded at this time -with Done and Retry buttons. This is after seeming to almost finish downloading.

Seems like the same issue as a few months back that eventually was either fixed or fixed itself. I tried unsubscribing because I think that worked at one point months ago but not luck.

It is not a space issue. Lots of other podcasts are fine. This is on an Ipad 2. Also on iPhone but that one has space issues

Are you connected via wifi? I get something like that on my phone if I try to download a larger podcast via cell connection. This current episode is slightly larger than normal (although still smaller than the supposed 100 MB cap).

Anyway, my episode came through fine, although maybe the problem got resolved in between your experience and mine.

Thanks (and hi - long live Poker Road sort of) but yes wi-fi and still not working. Really wanted this for the drive to cottage.

The way around it is to search for the Pokercast, click on Two Plus Two Podcast under Podcasts to get the list of episodes and download the episode from there.

I haven't had the trouble since I stopped using my iPod that was stuck on iOS 9.

The error looks like this, sometimes you get a popup first.




Search for the pokercast...click on Two Plus two Pokercast under Podcasts...




Click on the podcast in this list, it will download. It's very jittery when it downloads.

OK that sounds familiar now. I haven't had the issue for a while now although I never really saw a fix likely came back with a recent software version.

Spoke too soon. The little cloud disappeared for a bit but the error message popped up again ans it came back

Tried unsubscribing and then doing the individual episode download thing. We are back to working.

Maybe both are needed.

Adam, you always mention the 30% tax you would have to pay. But that you have a chance to get it back. As an American, we would have to pay at least 30%, probably more. And no chance of getting any of it back. What am I missing?

The 30% is being collected by the U.S. Government, and the Canadian Government still want their 50%.

You have to do paperwork to get the IRS to send the money to the CRA.

If you don't owe all that money in taxes to CRA, I assume the money is unrecoverable?

It also makes it impossible to pay your backers, say if you owe 50% to other people, you're now paying 60% in taxes. I imagine it would be impossible to explain that to two bureaucracies.
