Can you also find out if I'm "gay" or "cool"?

Thus far, I can't really see any value other than pure entertainment. I don't know much about the kid, is he really operating at that high a level strategically?

No, He is a stupid idiot from UK. (Im gonna get attacked by the FF fanboys now, hopefully they havnt discoverd the pokercast forum yet).

Personally i would like to get Ashman on, So he could go thru the 1m downswing and all the emotions with it. But thats my pick and i doubt anyone else is interested.

He's been on - check the archives.

Would it be possible to collect all the aired story time segments and release them together as a supplemental episode some week?

The pokercast rules, but boosted J made for an awful night. Was he on pills? the guy can barley form a sentence.

I don't mean to be negative, but here are some ideas of people that others would like to hear from imo.

Elky
Kevin Stammen
mr. Menlo
belowabove
steve gboro gross
Steve Berkholt
mig.com
Durr
patrick A
Ivey
Gus

Some of the cash players you have on are not really that interesting to the community imo. I think the last few cash players I listed are who alot of people would like to hear from.

Also since you have the best pokercast you should allow the community to call in and ask the pros questions instead of it just being Mike and Adam only (you guys rock ,but let some others get in our 2 cents)

Keep up the good work!

Have not heard it but heard him on Deuces radio show and he was awful.
His videos on Poker VT are also bad. Not tryin to be a hater but just callin a spade
a spade. Boosted J step ya game up and get some personality.

Dwan, Antonius and Gus have all been on. It is generally accepted within poker media that Ivey is not interested in subjecting himself to the torture of any interview that lasts more that 3 minutes(and I'm being generous with that guess).

Getting balla types like Dwan and Patrick to come on more than once per year is unlikely as it's just not high on their priority list of fun things for them to do.

I think cash game players like AE Jones, Krantz, GreenPlastic, Galfond, HossTBF and others that are very well spoken and seem to like doing interviews are very interesting to the community.

Good work on getting a European on in Demidov. How about Neil Channing at some point during the WSOP? Almost certainly would do it, and be a very entertaining guest.
06-08-2009 , 08:35 PM
Chris Ferguson

A segment about prepping for the WSOP schedule and how various players try to get themselves in "peak form" could be interesting.

laak and esfandiari and the same time would make for a hilarious show

AE would be solid too, we hear a lot of him in the strat segments but an interview would be pretty cool i think

Agreed, MJ.

I would much rather hear from a well-spoken, experienced cash-game player than anyone else.

What about trying to get one of the old-school British players like Ben Roberts, Barny Boatman, Dave Colclough, Mickey Wernock etc. They should all be in town for the WSOP, I would have thought?

BoostedJ wasn't as bad as some are saying, but it didn't really work to just grab him in the 15 min break. Can you guys not keep your options open and then grab a guest after they have busted out for the day?

Awesome show by the way! I hope to get the chance to buy you and Adam a cocktail or two when I am in town at the start of July!

You should get ahold of Foxwoodsfiend, he's a very good teacher over at DC, it would be nice to hear him talk about the state of No Limit Hold'em cashgames :-)

Krantz, Krantz, Krantz
06-09-2009 , 01:42 PM
Krantz(x2) and FWF have both been on. Check the archives for those guests. Will look to have them on again in the future.

Why dont you guys get one or both of the Dang bros?

I think we should bring back the bedtime degenerate stories, why did those stop?? They were great!

good Hellmuth twitter material...

A couple days ago he tweeted "Family first? Yes!! I will skip all WSOP events beginning on Monday, Tuesday, and Weds to make my sons high school graduation Weds night!"

New tweets "Pleasa drop a stack at break!! text me back to confirm u got this" and "Whoops! That message meant for WSOP floorman to buy me in at 2 hour break-7 pm...at sons graduation now. limo and jet gassed up!"

Lol... I guess family first = flying back right before the graduation and taking off for Vegas the moment it's over? I'm sure his son will have fond memories waving goodbye at his speeding away limo rushing him back for the 2-7 tourney tonight...

Family first or quest for non-hold'em bracelet first?

Uh, how about covering the problem with withdrawing funds. NY Times article on the accounts being frozen et cetera.

This is as big as the UB scandal and matters dearly to us players.

BTW, has Russ Hamilton died in a grease fire yet? I'm glad the government is trying to seize my money that was won fair and square yet the AP and UB thieves are apparently immune to prosecution. Nice priorities.

I agree, but it takes a bunch of research to talk about it properly. I've been playing tournaments etc so haven't had time.

We will certainly get to it when we can talk about it with some confidence that are informed enough to do so.
