What about if during the break before the wcop final table each year ,the 9 players/contestants are made to live in a big brother type house with all the presures invovled?

If you leave you lose your place on the final table, if you can make it the 60 days under the camera and around other villans :-) you get your shot.

I think this is an amazing idea and would cause no end of Air time and dicussion.

I think this is such a good idea and is worth pod cast time.

What better way to keep poker alive during the two months, just an insanly good idea?

:-)
Well, there are certainly enough players that love the camera. Offhand, some players that might go for it, and be entertaining on TV.

Phil Hellmuth, as much as I hate to say it.
Annie Duke, as much as I hate to say it.

Daniel Negreanu
Jennifer Tilly
Mike Matusow
Phil Laak
Tiffany Michelle
Tony G
mother of David Williams (can't remember her first name)

And for human interest, you can't beat Jennifer Harman (part of a husband and wife poker team, cute little twins, and a kidney transplant).

Ted Forrest. Underrated player who doesn't get enough play because he doesn't have a schtick. But when he won the Shooting Stars here in the SF Bay he made some sick plays and calls. I'd like to know more about his thought process.

Any chance of a segment on British Card rooms? I assume its not going to impress everyone but you could have the Hendon Mob (or another Bit Pro) on and ask them about the different card rooms?

trex and/or urindanger. they play the highest games, but are relatively unknown. it would be interesting to hear their stories.

A "Who Shoved Allin" Vegas Hookers special! (That's tasteless - I'm sorry)

But seriously - It would be interesting if you themed the guests and strategy, so, for example, Andy Block and Chris Ferguson following on from their FT Strategy Guide contributions on ranges and jam/fold numbers for tourney players.

An interview with the University of Alberta guys who are working on Poker Academy, and others who have an informed opinion on whether the game(s) are likely to solved, and if so when. Tie this to something on bots.

And find the girl in tunaman's avatar - make her speak!

I still don't know what she's saying though.

* omg omg omg I found one where she is playing Nintendo. This pretty much combines two of my favorite things in the world and I can barely handle it. If she was playing poker and watching the food channel I'm pretty sure my head would explode.

This really needs to be addressed on your show. Full Tilt is banning players without evidence that they are in fact cheating, or without even saying what part of TOS, if any, has been violated:

Could you get Phil Galfond on already? He's arguably one of the biggest profiles at 2p2 and has just launched his own coachingsite. He has been on 2 obscure radioshows this week according to his blog so im quite sure he would accept to be on 2p2 pokercast.
Or does this leggopoker sponsordeal include you not plugging other sites?

how about whom-ever took down the sunday million that week(week before w/e), questions to ask would be, what stakes he plays, does he regularly play the sunday mill. does he play any other sunday majors, does he have plans on playing the wcoop/ftops events, how much did he (or is going to)cash out after winning $200k, has he ever gone very deep in any past sunday majors, what's his live game like...is he going to the wsop now that's he's a 200k winner. could ask questions about what he did during the 10 hrs of playing the sunday mill, 10 hrs gotta squeeze a meal in there somewhere(mmmmmmm bacon), how much of the tournament was he in the top 5% of stacks, did he sit out for any long stretch, what was key hand in the tournament, what was the key hand(s) at final table. estimate on how many KO's he had during the tourney(ie did he grind the whole tourney and only KO whoever finished 2nd or did he turn into a holdem monster at some point and knock out people hand after hand after hand)

something along those lines sounds interesting to me

other people i'd like to see is durrr and whomever is first up for the challenge he layed out. maybe during (no pun intended) the match?.

IIRC we asked him and he declined at some point last year. I can't be sure of that tho as I can't remember who asked him.

Our partnership with Leggo doesn't have anything to do with our guests. One of the reasons we were happy to do a deal with them is that they would never think about asking for guest control.

Alright that makes sense. Imo however you should ask him again. Maybe he was not keen on doing interviews at that time, but lately he has been on several podcasts, and i hope he would accept being on the best pokercast out there.
