I heard Gavin Smith is playing $2-5 in Anchorage, AK. Have him tell us "What's up?" since becoming a dad and moving outta Vegas. Maybe even a "How much you got"!

Gavin and I are good friends, but he has declared he will no longer do the show due to something about the Mason/Boyd thing.

He's hosting a game up there, btw. Think the lifestyle up there suits Gavin and his wife and their kids nicely.

I presume Ansky post is correct with the statement:

"The only players who will see an increase in rakeback, are ChromeStar players. How much rakeback? Roughly 30 cents. Yes, you read that correctly, their rakeback will go up by up to 30 cents per month. Anyone playing small enough stakes to where this 30 cents matters to them is already playing in a game that is raked so high by stars that it is literally unbeatable (>15bb/100 rake is common at micros). So a few players will be roughly $3.60 better off a year with the changes and everyone else will be affected? I have had enough being lied to by politicians and now stars are doing the same - be honest with us please!

Amaya took on huge loans to pay for pokerstars with really high interest rates - to pay these off they are squeezing the players as much as they can. I am not sure how the site will grow with the increased rake (spins) and now less rake back.

Need to get on ideally Ansky + MeleaB or ZeeJustin or Galfond to talk about the VIP reduction and removal of SNE.
