Suggest a guest or segment - Page 137 - Two Plus Two Pokercast

Wow, I didn't hear anything about this. All I know about this year's WSOP is a couple live streams that I have watched. Does anyone know about a link to a story about these issues? I will look and see what I can find.

Now that I think about it, I remember reading an article on problems with the new plastic cards being used. It is harder to differentiate the suits all the way across the table, and the plastic is easily marked--when the cards were face down players could recognize cards that they had seen before.

Another cool guest could be Anatoly Filatov (nl_profit on stars and twitter), he is a tourney beast. He was also doing some twitching a couple months ago and looked like a hardcore epic russia beast.

and finally i'm also a big fan of Mike Dietrich (Pipedream17 on stars) the guys has been a long term tourney beast from Canada. Could be cool to have a chat with a guy that has had so much success with online poker MTTs for such a long period of time.

Hey Adam! I hope everything is going well..
a suggestion for the show, well is more something that I want to hear more than anything, is hear the unknown poker pros out there. I am a poker pro that has a very very interesting lifestyle because my wife and I travel and move a lot. we move every 3 to 6 months from city to city because of her job. something that I would like to hear and think would be extremely cool would be to get some random unknown pro that really not many people have heard of and hear their life story and how their grind is going what they play etc. I believe this would bump up the show and would increase a fan base, also I think is awesome when shows, people , teams , or whatever thing that has a fan base include those fans in what they do. I think it would be fantastic to hear some of those stories and interact with people in a very unique way that most people will never have a chance to. anyway that's my idea of what I would like to hear, keep up the great work guys !

ps I played limit hold them 20 40 for the first time and it was awesome so fun

I have to disagree. Listening to a podcast for 3-4 hours is challenging enough for players, that I've only been able to listen when there's a famous guest.

Naturally I assume that a 50/50 split has been done but still, would like confirmation of whats going on. The mtt re starts now.

We are both clearly confused and Im also kinda pissed we didnt get to discuss since I made the offer at a point in the match where my equity was lower than it was when it was paused.

I decide to let it ride given that it still is a pretty good deal for me and techincally I did say 'ok agreed' after he said 'ok lets chop/pause the clock'.

But still, maybe Im biased in thinking Ive been wronged here, akaik when you say agree while the mtt is still running, that is never the final agreement, when everyone says agree you go and discuss a deal where it is finalized.

We go back and forth in chat asking for confirmation, 45-60 seconds later we get another pop up, clearly stating that we each get 147750 and 20k left to play for. We both say gl etc and Raisy goes on to win.

Then I get paid 2nd place prize money lol (109500 I think).

I go on live chat and get through to the TD within 30 secs or so, he is saying he is very sorry etc etc he will fix this immediately, he doesnt 100% confirm but I assume that I was paid 2nd place and Raisy was paid 1st place.

He tells me the money has been removed from Raisys account and it will take hiim 10-15 min to fix, he then apologizes more and also about the confusion with the deal confirmation, thanks for being patient etc. I chill on live chat just waiting for it to be fixed.

I realize now I should have said to him about the problems with communication during the deal, it should have been much clearer and we should have been given time to talk and agree to a deal with the mtt paused, but after a 16 hour mtt and then getting paid like 40k less than I should have been my mind was all over the place and I basically just forgot to bring it up, I just wanted my money and to go to bed.

The equity numbers change every single hand in a HUSNG, clearly any discussions about making a deal have to be done with the clock paused.

Anyway, I wait 10-15 mins and the remaining money is sent to my account in a P2P xfer giving me the correct 147750 total.
