From the other thread, I would like to know if anyone has an MGM Grand fire related story.

Could you ask your guests for favourite things? After an interview, ask the guests, then add it to the favourite things segment. Or not.

I suggest Katie Dozier as a guest. There is a rather interesting thread brewing here:

http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/29...stars-1513431/

If you could get bjsmith in there as well it would be awesome (discussing with Katie). He views the whole problem in a different way, and it might create some nice discussion.

Edit: After further tought, maybe Katie is enough. The chance for discussion spiralling outta control might be too big if involving yet another person.

you guys should try a live podcast session via twitch. Have a Q&A segment with the chat, and host the podcast live from in the studio.

jaime staples and his twitch stream. Really well spoken guy, took a lot of heat in the marketplace when trying to sell pcs. of his higher buy-in action. Possibly the best streamer on twitch besides jcarver and gets lots of praise from pros like nanonoko, merson and xflixx.

Ole Schemion, Doug Polk or Tom Dwan for the Longshot. .

Hey guys, I am looking for software that has a 9 handed table and you can put in mock situations into the table. Does anyone know of anything like this?

Can you guys have Boston on twice this year? Maybe get him on with Haralabob one of the two weeks? Though you guys have always joked (sorry T, not the first year for the show) that Boston takes the show over, you guys have had good chemistry with him over the years. You guys have had many great guests, Alan is top top for me.

^^ I was just about to post this exactly. Fellow Canadian and great kid, would love to hear him on the show.

Would love it if you guys could get Colson Whitehead on to talk about his book "The Noble Hustle". It's a great, hilarious look at going to the WSOP from the perspective of an amateur staked the $10k to enter the Main by a magazine. It features all the regulars you guys talk about, including a cameo appearance by T. Chan himself during a chapter when he goes to dinner with the whole Math House crew.

His book is just coming out in paperback too, so that combined with the pending WSOP seems like a great opportunity to get him on.

He's a good interview too.

We've been trying to figure out how to stream the show live for a while. Still working on trying to figure out if altering the show format is worth it.

I came here to also suggest having Jaime Staples on the Pokercast. He is a high-volume mid-stakes MTT grinder on Twitch. He has one of the highest viewerships in the Twitch Poker community often over 2,000 viewers with a peak of over 7,000 when he got heads up in a tournament (with "hilarious" heads-up suckouts* that slayed the viewers).

Jaime is a great guy and a very good poker player. He is very welcoming to new viewers/players into his Twitch stream and tries to read/respond to every chat post. He had something like a month-long downswing that was really hard on his viewers but he kept his good nature and said that downswings were part of being a pro poker player (he was cheering up his viewers, not the other way around). He loves the Pokercast. And best of all, he is CANADIAN.

I don't think he would mind me saying that he can be contacted via email and his email address is listed at the bottom of his Twitch channel (PokerStaples) since he gives his email address out on his Twitch stream if someone asks.

P.S. If you get him on the Pokercast, make sure to ask him about shoving very light late in tournaments (correctly in most spots) which drives his Twitch viewers bat**** crazy especially when he gets called and loses and busts the tourney!

* One of the heads-up whoppers was when it got all-in preflop (fairly shallow) something like Jaime's QT vs Villain's A4. Flop was QQ7. Chat went wild since Jaime was going to bink a big tourney for around $7K. Of course, turn/river were Ace Ace and the chat went even wilder with disbelief!

I was wasting time on YouTube thanks to you bringing up The Big Game & Shark Cage, and thought it might be nice to have a segment to interview a ten plus year poker "star", to either Where Are They Now, or Biggest Poker Regret. Now that poker has been "popular" for a dozen years, we could check on the likes Robert Varkonyi, Gabe Kaplan, Julian Gardner, and many others that could share some good stories.

Thanks!

Totally agree. Really hope he is on this week or even an early show next week after selection Sunday but before the games start on Thursday would be ideal!
