Link? Just click on the show thread or the 2+2 Pokercast link in the shortcuts section at the top left of your screen.
Or just subscribe and get each new show automatically downloaded as soon as it comes out.

True story:

I was using a chain saw last week to cut down a tree. Every so often I'd have to stop and tighten the chain. With every turn of the bar wrench to tighten the chain I thought of Kesler (his avatar looks exactly like the saw I had rented). Then, I realized I'd overtightened and have to slack it off a bit.

Morale: None. It seems quite pointless, but I'm posting anyway.

How can one be so helpless?

The only mystery is how you managed to turn on your computer without asking for help.

In the time it took you to type your last post you could have read that the thread directly above this one is the show thread from this week.

Joe Sebock to ask what his next failed venture is going to be.

A redneck walks into a hardware store and asks for a chain saw that will cut 6 trees in one hour. The salesman recommends the top of the line model. The redneck is suitably impressed, and buys it.

The next day he brings it back and says, "This chain saw is defective. It would only cut down 1 tree and it took all damn day!"

The salesman takes the chain saw, starts it up to see what's wrong, and the puzzled redneck says, "Heck, what's that noise?"

. . .then Matt Marafioti used it to cut his table mates to ribbons. . .

Even better, make it a weekly segment like Sklansky minute until we get to the bottom of this controversy. From now until forever!!!!

Dude, let it go. Ali explained the situation. Nothing more to see here. My goodness.

Chill, I made that suggestion because I thought they hadn't done that show yet

Pail Zima, Zima421 on 2+2. He runs the largest online staking group, and is probably the biggest backer for wcoop.

Noah Vaillancourt, dirty.brasil on 2+2. He is a backer as well, so far this year he has 2 scoop ft's, a wsop ft, and just won event 20 WCOOP.

His actual last name is Dlugozima and I'm not certain I could learn how to pronounce that.

Johnny Hughes for great old-time poker stories.

For the next tournament 'pick your fav X' game, I would suggest chinese kung fu movies. Donnie Yen is a boss.

Mike Sexton

There are always threads in these forums about whether "old players" can keep up with today's young guns.

Doyle Brunson won a 2009 WSOP bracelet at the age of 73, and Mike Sexton (about to turn 65) has done well in the last year or so in both WSOP and WPT events. I'm sure I'm not the only player over 50 who would love to hear about someone in our age group who is succeeding at the highest level.

I am sure Mike would like to talk about tournament poker using a "shot clock" as well.
