A few episodes ago you all were reviewing all-in or fold hands and while I can't remember the specific hand you were talking about I had a similar hand in a daily tournament after we made the money. I had a medium/average stack and raised with pocket 8s and action folded to the chip leader who raised me all-in and I called and lost to his AQoff. How do the all-in or fold charts change or do they remain the same based on position or whom you are up against? Would you not use all-in or fold strategy with average/middle stack and/or position?

Yooo... My name is Adam Z from Normal,IL.....yea that is a real place....it's the new kells...I'm calling it... Anyway. I am facing a decision that no man should ever be forced to answer. Bacon OR titties?? I am dating an awesome girl who is a gorgeous Doctor and stacked but she is also a vegan. She is disgusted by even the smell of bacon and won't be anywhere near it. What do I do??????

Hey guys,

I just listened to your "buh-bye 2014, hello 2015" show today and at the end everyone of you talked about some new year resolutions.
Would be interesting on how you did with these. Maybe you can find a couple of minutes to talk about whether or not you were able to meet any of the goals you set for yourselves for 2015.

Looking forward to your next show,

Obi

Adam.
I think it's about time that you took a shot in the casino game Ross plays in. I know the family thing but you could skip a concert to free up the time.
Maybe a one off schwartz report. (after all you do appear to question some.of the play)

Hi Guys,

Love the show, not missed an episode in at least 7/8 years.

I have an EV question about the US Lottery. Im from the UK so this may be dumb but a news article says 85.8% of combinations have been picked for the next draw. Given the recent drafkings scandal, does this mean that someone has access to what these combinations are? So could they use this to pick the numbers that havent been chosen to increase their value by having the only winning ticket?

Given its odds are 1 in 292 million, there are 45 million combinations not chosen so its unlikely anyone could use this information usefully, but is the principal there of being able to check a certain combination has not been used by anyone else?

Assuming the draw is a truly uniform distribution, the following is theoretically possible:

In a timeframe *just before the draw* they could obtain a list of unused numbers and play those. Their odds are the same, but their EV increases slightly.

This kinda has me thinking about something else. The terminals themselves offer 'quick picks' (they generate the numbers for you). I believe most people use these. These terminals are fairly likely inexpensive, so probably use a PRNG (pseudo-random number generator) which is not uniform. I suppose a confederate with knowledge of the terminal PRNG bias, could get a similar but slightly less EV advantage.

How would he gain an advantage?

If the quick pick RNG has a bias, you don't want the numbers that it picks more frequently.

I'm spitballing. The powerball machines are everywhere, putting a true hardware RNG in each one would be crazy expensive. It is possible that they phone home and have access to a better RNG.

Was there ever any more info on being able to print/buy Pokercast T-shirts?

I vaguely recall there being art already existing, wondering if we could ever get that going. *********.com looks like an option, but without the artwork tough to tell how much it would cost, and looks like you may have to get 50, not sure though.

Got a ********* hoodie last Xmas as part of a campaign done by a programming mailing list. Been happy with it. Seems like a good option.

Always loved the show ever since I found out what podcasts were right around Black Friday. I have to say tho, not enjoying the new format of the show, particularly the viewer email/phone calls part of it. Just not my cup of tea I suppose. Maybe I'm in the minority and if I am, could you add time stamps to the show for those parts?

Other then that, keep doing what you guys do. Still the best poker podcast out there.

Just some feedback guys, but despite following for a few years and loving the show, I couldn't really focus on that robotic voice in the interview, in spite a subject that really interested me... Anyhow, keep it up guys!!!

I thought that was an interesting story. I didn't have a problem with the voice. Maybe It would have been better to have someone re-voice it, or transcribe it and have Siri read it.

Maybe use a voice recognition program to transcribe it and then let Siri read the output verbatim.

130 regged for the Pokercast at start, 10 minutes late reg and there were 213. I think a bit of PW sharing was in order.

Re. money arrest. Great but long story, I thought it was a hard listen but after 10 minutes I got used to it. I'd have no problems if you done the voice again. The guy thought it was essential but I'm sure he could be easily traceable with all the information he gave.

Iovation, the company run by former UB Greg Pierson has applied and received conditional approval by the Nevada Gaming Control Board to do business in Nevada. Terrance may be somewhat familiar with this as UP had to give up using Iovation when the players found out that Iovation was supplying UP with geolocation thru a third party. The Board meets again on Feb 18 for final approval. Any thoughts or concerns?

Read in IPWOF thread:
"fan favorite Brian Hastings felted Isildur, winning $4.2 million with completely legitimate and ethical tactics."

Based on the link it pointed to, I assume that the above wording is sarcastic. I hope it was.
