Can't wait to get to work to listen to this...

wait, that doesn't sound right.

When I finally decide to stroll into work, the best part of my day will be listening to this.

That's better.

I'm thinking the lack of Saturday broadcasts of "Face the Ace" during the fall may be due in part to NBC's college football contract with Notre Dame. They'll be airing games for the Fighting Irish in September/October on Saturdays.

also, please allow all Clayton Newman to speak for and narrate any and all BoostedJ stories from this point forward.

On the topic of the Champion's Invitational, it was pretty predictable what was going to happen. I figured the two that would want it the most would be Varkonyi and McEvoy just based on what they have done in the poker world. I also figured that Harrington would do well because he cares about the EV of situations like that. I thought Hellmuth would do better because he also cares for things like that.

Even when Carlos had a huge chip lead, I knew he wasn't long for the final table because he is too aggressive and didn't care about this made up title.

his aejones impression is so good everytime ive heard it I thought it was the aejones strategy segment again.

Re : Betfair prices
Darvin Moon is not 4/1, he's around 3/1 (which is displayed as 4.0 in euro odds)
So Eric Buchman is actually 4.6/1 (5.6 euro odds)

Also, betfair is an exchange, not a bookmaker, so when you say "they" have released prices, all that is happening is that people are betting against each other, so prices are fluid. Expect Darvin Moon's price to get bigger as November draws closer.

good interview, terrible impression

Listen, if the pokercast says 4 to 1 odds work out to a 25% chance of winning, who are we to argue?

lol wat is proffabilly Adam?

Usual high standard fellas. Good stuff.

OMG. That storytime was such a classic example of the walking personality disorder that is Hellmuth......he prolly actually believes he was telling a story about Flack and Forrest.

Would of been comedy if AS had actually had to sit through that while PH told it - Adam woulda been spitting feathers by the end.

oops misunderstood MJ quoting the odds and didn't hear/know it was Betfair.

So is a sophisticated muck, showing your hand to one player only crossing an ethical line or is it standard practice if it's your buddy and he's the only other player in the pot?

From what I understand it's flashing your holecards to one opponent only as you throw them in the muck
