I LOVE the Pokercast I LOVE the Pokercast

Hey guys,

I'm a noob to the Pokercast forum. I don't know if this is appropriate, but I just wanted to say that I've been listening to the podcast for about 6 months now and I eagerly anticipate its release every week. Mike/Adam, you guys make my hour commute to work tolerable. I can't thank you guys enough for putting on such an awesome show.

I met TT out in Vegas a couple weeks ago. My friends and I were watching Ivey win his first bracelet this year and we just happened to be talking about the Pokercast. That's when TT spoke up, "that's my podcast!" It was really cool to meet him. He's a very nice dude. I wish I could have stayed out there for the 2+2 meetup. Fortunately, I did get to meet TT and a bunch of DC fellas, inlcuding Joe Tall who was really really cool. Oh, and met the Iceman as well haha.

Ok, just wanted to thank all those involved with putting on the pokercast!

yeppers, I'm addicted to the pokercast too.

You're in good company. I listen to the 2+2 podcast while I'm riding the bus or walking my dog and it makes the commute so much better. This might also be the reason that I don't bellyache about the length of the show as much as some. Mike and Adam could do a 2 hour show every week as far as I'm concerned. I'm sure I'd be much happier about it than they would.

But yeah, check out the backlog. There's some real gems in there. I recommend the Danny Robison episode. It's one of my faves and Danny has some fantastic stories about old Vegas.

You guys should have Mason on again sometime if you're ever short on guests. It'd be interesting to hear what's new with 2+2 (if anything) and any stories about moving up the poker ranks in Vegas. I'm sure the dude has got to have some stories to tell.

I listened to the Danny Robison episode as one of my first pokercasts. I was immediately hooked. Best one so far, imo.

And I fully agree that I would gladly listen to a 2 or 3 or 4 hour pokercast every week! How do people complain about having more awesomeness?

I haven't had a chance to listen to today's yet, and this is likely the longest period I've gone since I've found it between it being released and listening to it.

I listen to Pokerroad as well, but never manage to get through more than 1.5 episodes a week, and am not nearly as excited for a new episode. It's still a decent show though, don't want to hate on it.

I've never listened to PokerRoad. I will have to check that out. I used to listen to Ante Up, but not really a big fan. I do like Deuce Plays tho (can you tell I'm from DC haha).

It's not a bad show, but a difference of night and day. It's entertaining, and better than most of the other poker podcasts, but there is a definite quality/quantity issue when compared the 2p2 pokercast. Kinda different "mandate" but my 2nd favorite show. Don't know what the 3rd would be..

ya the pokercast is awsome. i love to hear all the strategy especially the sklansky minute (love the reggae). i like how they had the authors of professional no limit holdem on. i read that book and really liked the insite on certain topics.

It's entertaining, but is very loosely classified as a "poker podcast."

That's correct. I guess I meant to say that the Pokercast is the best Pokerpodcast and the Two Jacks In The Hole are my favorite podcast in general.

If you run out of the pokercast episodes ... search for rounders radio in the Itunes store ... I just discovered this and will have many more happy drives to work in my future
