I love the show, love the length and despite this show being the most depressing pokercast I can remember (disillusionment with the game, child molestation, the passing of chip's son), it was still good.
But on the leggo poker thing....I think they are awful segments. I'm not doubting their abilities as poker players, but the sign of a good coach is being able to communicate in a way that is clear, understandable and where the listener learns. Sklansky may say some bizarre things at times, but at least he communicates in a way that is easy to understand and makes you think. The leggo poker guys though.... well when they are not talking at 100mph in that really flat, monotone way that seems to be prevelent amongst poker players, they start trying to over-complicate things for the sake - I presume - of sounding authoratitive or clever. I almost fell off my chair when Aaron said something like 'can result in fancy play syndrome' and THEN added 'or FPS'... I mean....what the....? Personally, I think that this weeks segment could have been explained in simple english in about half the words. But that wouldn't sound complex enough I guess.
And whats with all the 'one and only' tag, and his self proclaimed 'the man, the myth, the legend' status on leggo poker.....Come on, sounds like the kid has a touch of the Phil Hellmuth syndrome (otherwise known as PHS).
And whilst I'm unable to prove it, I reckon this approach will turn a lot of potential leggo poker subscribers off.
Aside my my mini rant above, keep up the good work guys
