Are you sure about that? The facebook app that's linked in the thread is from a company called Zynga.com. These guys just raised $39M in venture capital last year. I would have thought that Party Gaming would have deep enough pockets that they would not want to share the pie with VC guys. They seem to be pretty successful at recruiting new users given they've taken over the number one spot among poker applications on Facebook.

Zynga allows creating accounts from Yahoo, Facebook, MySpace and other sites, so I wouldn't be surprised if there's some double-counting going on. They also have an iPhone client, which is the main reason I've checked this out. It isn't quite poker, but it's still somewhat entertaining late at night when staying up with a baby.

I am glad you did this interview Mike and Adam I really think he's is really one of the truly good guys in poker after listening to this weeks podcast!

One of my favourite episodes - Eli is such a great guy and he came across incredibly well and was really interesting to listen to, while being the kind of guy you really want to sit at a table with. Obv, he would then take all my monies in prop bets but still....

The Andy Bloch BJ story is straight out of a Ben Mezrich book as well - very similar stuff happened to the guy in there as well when visiting Monte Carlo. Is there more to this similarity or did the MIT BJ teams all do the same casino's?

Another great show guys! Can't go wrong with Barry and Eli.

I really hope Eli writes a memoir or autobiography someday. I'd love to read about his life.

I haven't been able to watch HSP yet, but both Eli and Barry's insights are really interesting.

Good to have a bed-time story about the MIT Blackjack Team too - always interesting stories out of those guys.

I agree, the more I listen to Barry on PokerRoad and 2+2, the more I appreciate him.
