This week on the Pokercast Adam and Terrence welcome Fantasy Football $1M winner Matt Smith to talk about his big win from the past weekend as well as some fantasy football strategy. Spencer “360flip19” Moe also makes his Pokercast debut to talk about his 2014 WCOOP win in event #12 and give us some insight into the HUNL community. Lots of topics for Adam and Terrence to throw around, including the WSOP Player of the Year race currently in full swing in Melbourne, Australia. The guys also talk about the recent Phil Ivey lawsuit decision, Dan Colman’s incredible six month run, Isai Scheinberg’s big win at the UKIPT and Kyle Keranen’s behaviour showcased on the ESPN WSOP Main Event coverage. Which is the singer of the song reading and responding to the comments that he got on the Youtube page. Thought you might enjoy it.

I hate to keep sounding like a negative broken record... But... The audio for the interviews this week was the worst its ever been. I literally could not hear the first guest, or Steve D. Just some fuzzy mumbles, It was so low that I didn't want to risk cranking the sound as it would have been painful when Adam or Terrance asked their questions. The middle guest that was recorded last week was perfect, just the other two.

Still love the show! And I am really looking forward to Mikes upcoming episode. As a tourney nerd, I am really missing his tournament updates!

Hey ZenX, and everyone. There are 2 files for this weeks show, if you downloaded a file that is about 136mb that is the good one... it was re posted early this morning and has fixes.

I am assuming you got the first version sir, if anyone downloaded the 1st version last night (about a 70mb file) I would recommend dumping it and re downloading.

I downloaded the episode off the RSS ~11 hours ago (7:30 AM pacific) and the file I got sounded good, SamENole was a little low at times but Mike and Spencer sounded really good

About 2/3 through the show, but if I wait until I finish I usually forget the comments I thought of at the beginning.

1) The running gag can be Adam doing his "I'm Chillin'" intro and TChan refusing to participate. I actually think it's funnier this way.

2) I have personal experience with a machine exploit. I once encountered a vending machine as a kid that kept spitting out Skittles if I held the button for that item. The first extra item was an accident; I just didn't want the spiral to stop turning before the bag dropped. After I got to the third extra bag I started to feel guilty and let go of the button. Who knows if I could have emptied the whole row. That said, to this day more than 30 years later, I always hold the button on a vending machine just to see if it will happen again. That's all to say that I would like to be able to say I wouldn't take advantage of an exploit if I found it, but I kind of have evidence that I would.

3) There has to be at least one other geek out there who was listening and got really excited for about 0.75 seconds thinking that Matt Smith, the 11th Doctor, was going to be the next guest.

4) What do you want in the e-mails that is different from what gets posted? It doesn't really seem like the e-mails serve a different function, so why should a regular poster send an e-mail instead?

Well, the show thread is/should be discussion for the actual show.

The emails are for content. Questions, overall takes on the show etc.

Had an issue with the Ivey segment. As many in the NVG thread you guys seem to forget that the judge didn't voice his own opinion on what cheating is, but he is applying British civil law which constitues what cheating is. Ironically you call the judge out for knowing the law but not the gambling world, whereas you take the exact opposite position...

All in all, keep up the great work guys.

I like that you are bringing guest from other games aswell, I haven't really stepped into daily fantasy sports yet, just regular fantasy football (in which I crushed Adams team a few weeks back). With that being said, Matt was not the most entertaining personality.
