Amazing show and congrats to 200 books I mean in the books. The degen story with Muhamad dusting off 6 million at blackjack even makes mike the mouth quiver. Should be a movie made on that guy. Get Neil Channing to do the voiceovers.

It must be a metal umlaut (nice phrase), since Max himself pronounces it as if it rhymes with "waffles."

I was actually coming to this thread just to mention the Rofls/Rolfs thing.

When we came up with the character we wanted to do a play on "maximum rofls" (rolls on the floor laughing), then we just stuck an umlaut on it since he's German. The American characters pronounce it "roffles" and Max himself says something between "rroh-fles" and "rrur-fles". But MJ and Adam are in good company - Lon McEachern said "Rolfs" when he mentioned him in the Heinzelmann segment on WSOP.

As an aside, every episode we keep trying to include a joke about Max's private mode of transportation, the "Röflcopter" :-D

I remember catching it during the recent Barry Greenstein interview, but I caught it again and thought I would post about it.

When talking about the hooker that Barry felt sorry for, Mike tried to interupt and said something like "Me lu" and obviously he was going to make the "Me love you long time" joke and luckily Barry cut him off by continuing the story.

Congrats you three!

Not sure what show number I tuned in for, but I do remember (vaguely) getting introduced to Adam one day at the Rio...getting told that I didn't have to worry and that he was a good guy. He also told me that Adam was involved in the 2p2 pcast, which I mistook as meaning he ran 2p2 (so of course I went along). It took me until sometime in 2005 to realize that wasn't quite the case.

Anyway, congrats from your biggest fan in the Prairies. Witch doctors on me!
